Guest Last Warrior Report post Posted October 21, 2002 i was just wondering who was going. it should be another great fwa show and is also the last chance you will have to see the fwa for under a tenner. Lets not forget the fact that the main event is chris daniels - doug williams - jody fleisch. My official preview will be up on te sun this thursday.
Chunk 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2002 I wanted to go, but its too soon after uprising. I couldnt persuade my lift to London to drive all the way up there again. Its a shame as i was impressed by Uprising and would liked to have gone. Are there any more FWA shows this year (big ones, not trainee ones). Do you know how much tickets will go up to? ChUnK! Guest Last Warrior Report post Posted October 21, 2002 The next big show is in december at hertfordshire. I am assuming it will be at brozbourne in which case, good as that is the best wrestling arena the FWA have been to (bar the york hall). I do not know how much ticket prices are going up to. However i have heard that they are putting the prices up so that they can afford to bring over more stars from abroad. Which is always worth the money with the FWA. I assume that by bringing in americans, they can get more ppl in, and then their popularity grows so they go to bigger venues etc. Seems like a good action plan, its just when ever anything like this happens it seems that the long term fans (which im not pretending to be - im new to FWA) kind of loose out. You cant stay stuck in the past though and im sure that the long term fans will appreciate the americans aswell.
Guest Andy Report post Posted October 23, 2002 I think the long-time FWA fans still appreciate the US flavourings we get. When people with work-rates like Eddie Guerrero, Jerry Lynn, Steve Corino and A J Styles are happy to come over, it's not something we're likely to complain about. Cheers, Andy
Guest Last Warrior Report post Posted October 23, 2002 yeah you can't complain. i regard myslef as a long term fan and I have no problem with the FWA now. I can see and appreciate the reasons they have for doing the things they do.
