Why Can't Jim Cornette Book RAW?

Recommended Posts

Guest Pop Culture God

Cornette and Heyman are two of the best bookers of all time and if Heyman had SD! and Cornette had RAW think how much better RAW could be. We'd still have HHH, but we'd get more old-school in-ring feuds like on SD! instead of this shit we're getting on RAW now. Cornette says he doesn't want to be involved in office politics but I think he should recognize that booking RAW would dramatically improve the show's quality and therefore save the Pro Wrestling business since the WWE is the only game in town.

Cause there'd be too much quality wrestling and not enough poorly booked soap opera shit

Cornette books OVW

and he hates Heyman

that's why he doesn't book RAW

Rob, that's why he's PERFECT. Heyman would step it up to compete with him. They'd be deuling to gain veiwers. Competition is GOOD.

Danny Davis could easily step in as booker.

Cornette has never booked in the big time before....plus, he is a huge fan of storyline over wrestling.

He is my favorite manager and talker of all time but after 1996, he lost most of his sense.

Yeah, but his storylines make sense and are entertaining and complement the wrestling. He left the WWE and asked to book OVW because he was upset at the sheer amount of retarded angles Russo was putting out.

Couldn't have lost TOO much sense.

Cornette hates being on the road and hates office politics with a purple passion. He's got what he considers to be his dream job now in OVW so, just short of Vince McMahon telling him that he's coming back, he ain't gonna do it.

I don't care who replaces the current RAW writers, just so long as they don't write something shitty like HHH fucking a dead corpse.

Yeah, that diaper gimmick that Cornette booked between Razor Ramon & the 1-2-3 Kid was great booking. Yeah, Cornette booking RAW would be something.. not much of a change from the crap it is now.. but it'd be "something.." haw!

RAW should be entertainment based. They simply don't have the wrestlers Smackdown has. I would like to have two shows have separate flavours anyways. That's why fan friendly wrestlers like Rikishi should be on RAW, while guys like Lance Storm don't fit in. The problem is that the storylines they have really suck.

What a fucking moron.

That's ONE ANGLE. I've never heard of a booker who never booked a bad angle. Hey man crucified Sandman for Christ sakes.

Umm. Name calling or not that was still a dumb post.

Yes, I agree. Your original post about Jim Cornette being a good booker was dumb. Glad you see things my way.

Cheers
