Guest GameCop Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 Hmmm... Vince is bringing back Wargames, methinks.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 That seems to be it. It will probably have a lame spin... Probably? Elimination Chamber sounds so kevin sullivanish...
Guest dpac Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 it cant be worse than the chamber of horror, than again it is coming from raw, so i guess i take that back
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 No, it is going to be like Uncensored 1996, with HHH going over Benoit, Angle, RVD, Booker, Jericho, Eddy, Rey & Edge in the same match.
Zetterberg is God Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 He'll win by fingerpoking RVD, who will then proceed to knock down all the others in a domino effect and pin all of them in record time
Guest GameCop Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 By adding the Survivor Series elimination concept to the Wargames concept, Vince will make the entire thing HIS creation.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 Chamber of Horrors!!! What, they already took Spin the Wheel. Might as well go all out. Of course, it won't really be Chamber of Horrors untill Cactus Jack returns and brandishes his fearsome "Chain-less Chainsaw"
Guest Zack Malibu Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 I was thinking that this was a WWEized War Games. Will it be interpromotional, or just a RAW match? Methinks just a RAW match, considering he's trying to one up the Hell In A Cell, but imagine Steph giving Big Show a spot in the match, and him winning it for Smackdown, just to spite Bischoff. As much as I don't wanna see Show in the mains, it's one way to make him seem worthwhile.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 I'm looking forward to seeing this Elimination Chamber match. It's something different, as far as I know. Though, if it's just a Wargames match, which I have no clue anything about, then it won't be anything different.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 Nah, it will probably be Bubba, RVD, Kane, Michaels (or he will just run in) and like, Booker and Golddust vs. Flair, HHH, Jericho, Christian where HHH gets to finish the job on burying all those guys until HBK stops him.
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 I'm thinking it's just a survivor series match mixed with a HIAC. Wargames would be swank, but it's not gonna happen.
Guest The Metal Maniac Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 I greatly fear the possibility of the Doomsday cage...
Guest The Old Me Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 no chamber of horrors. please!
Guest Prime Time Andrew Doyle Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 It could be the Triple Cage Match, Like War Games 2000
Guest Redhawk Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 Of all the names they could have used, they come up with that? That shows how far in advance this was planned (read: about 3 hours). Anyone with any more than one day to think of a name for such a match would have thought of something better.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 Nah, it's going to be a monster truck match inside of a GIGANTIC cell on the roof of MSG, and Big Show's a-gonna take a tumble.
Guest MixxMaster Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 It could be the Triple Cage Match, Like War Games 2000 I wouldn't mind that at all...I've been waiting to see that big-assed cage come back.
Guest Choken One Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 Why not just call it the "Chamber"? Elimination implies it's a multiple man match involving eliminations....Chamber...could be anything.
Guest The Tino Standard Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 First thought that came to my mind was the Ready To Rumble cage. It would be a way to one-up the HIAC. Also, I think people could be getting mislead by the "Elimination Chamber" name. Maybe its just a match that is "so brutal, it eliminates entire careers" or someting to that effect. Or it could be a match like the Fatal Four-Way Elim at WM2000, where it isn't teams fighting, but singles wrestlers. Eh, who knows.
Guest netslob Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 lets just hope Perry Saturn and John Kronus aren't involved.
Guest Choken One Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 Makes sense for that interp...but it looks like a giangantic 16 man Battle royal
Guest cabbageboy Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 I think it'll be a combo Wargames/Survivor match in the HIAC. Two teams with two men starting and ending with everyone in the cage. From there we have eliminations until there is one team gone.
Guest Luke Michael Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 Hmmm... Vince is bringing back Wargames, methinks. I'm a little excited about it but I won't be surpised if it sucks. It's sad though that the only way RAW can try to get people interested is to create a gimmick match. It's turning into WCW I do like the traditional Survivor Series matches though so I'm happy if the Elimination Chamber will be one.
Guest El Satanico Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 I'm thinking it's just a survivor series match mixed with a HIAC. Wargames would be swank, but it's not gonna happen. Well, a Survivor Series match mixed with a HIAC is basically the same thing as a Wargames match.
Guest I Fear Hogans Air Guitair Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 Will it be interpromotional, or just a RAW match? Methinks just a RAW match, considering he's trying to one up the Hell In A Cell. I think it will be a RAW match. Making a better match than Hossamania Brock VS Taker HITC is easy. Making a better match then Team God VS Rey and Edge now that's a challange.
Guest ManKinnd Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 I sure hope it's that triple cage again. Wow, what a cool gimmick. I think it's even more intimidating than the HIAC. Add in the fact that there are so many more possibilities for cool highspots; just cause DDP and Jarret didn't take advantage doesn't mean no one will. Think of moves off the second cage onto the top of the first, like elbows or bodyslams, simple stuff would look cool enough. I'm not expecting anyone to take the Ready to Rumble DDP monstor bump, but they could do some good stuff with it.
