Donkey Kong Country 3 (SNES) - Yes, I plan on listing them all. And no, I can't be stopped. I love the SNES DK series.

Matt wins! HA!

32. Breath of Fire (SNES) - Fun little RPG with bright pretty graphics and good music. Jade is cool. Best in the series.

34. Mortal Kombat 2 (SNES) - Very cool fighter, with very atmospheric graphics and music. And there was actually good gameplay here too, although most people were too transfixed with the gore to see it.

33. Donkey Kong Country (SNES) - Why delay the inevitable?

I remember when that first came out, and I got a video talking about the making of it, and whatnot right before it was released. I sat and watched it over and over, because it was simply the most awesome thing I had ever seen before on my TV...

...I bought the game on launch day.

Now that I think about it, it still looks rather awesome. That game must have really pushed the power of the SNES, because it was just great.

Yeah, DKC was what finally got me to stop blathering about how much better the Genesis was than the SNES. That game pretty much single-handedly ended the console war. It just looked *so* much better than anything else at the time.

Hell, it looks better than some games that come out today, lol...

...I still have that video by the way. :D :D :D

36. Mortal Kombat 3 (SNES) - Less cool, better gameplay. Once you play with the run button, there's no going back.

Tetris - the game that kept Game Boy alive all these years. Tetris 3 on SNES is my personal fav it had multiplayer support, and with the different game mode it never got boring.

39. Dragon Warrior 3 (NES) - Can't believe I almost forgot about it. The best Dragon Warrior, with a good story all the way through and a *great* twist at the end. And you can create your own party, which is always fun.

Pilot Wings - on SNES was one of the launch titles for the 16bit system, and did not dissapoint. If you hit certain targets on the sky diving game you get bonus levels, damn the moving moat target was hard to land on.

46. SNK Baseball Stars. I still play this game on NES. Love making teams with current names and making money when you win to build up your team.

47) Lufia series (SNES)- They're not the best RPG's, and they're extremely boring to play all the way through... but they have some snappy storylines.

48) L'Empereur(NES) - Underrated strategy game where you get to be Napoleon and your objective is to become Consul(later Emperor) of France and take over Europe by defeating countries such as England, Russia, Prussia, Austria, and Turkey.

49. Actraiser for SNES

A hidden gem. Awesome "civilization" simulation that also included a side scrolling platform portion. Truly a unique concept at the time, IMO.

54. Duck Hunt (NES) - I mean, who didn't spend dozens of hours sitting two inches from the TV, trying to beat the impossible levels where the ducks move at lightning speed, stay on screen for about half a second, and the game ends when you miss one? And who can forget that damn dog?

55. Final Fight.

The ultra SNES side scrolling fighter. Interesting characters, awesome bosses, and a fun plot.

Who can forget G. Oriber? Or Wong Foo? Holly Wood? Axel & Slash? The Andores?
