Guest Goodear Report post Posted October 23, 2002 Behind a large mahogany desk, Fasaki sits with his hands folded in front of him. Wearing a grey suit and looking pensive, Ejiro looks to the camera with pride beaming from his eyes. "Over the last few hours of my life, much has changed. I started out yesterday just like anyone else. But today, I am no longer just an ordinary, everyday, average wrestler like Jack The Ripper or Johnny Dangerous. No, no, no, Ejiro Fasaki has been instead thrust into the mantle of leadership by forces beyond his control. As the new number one contender to the European Title..." At the mere mention of this, Ejiro allows a slight smile to cross his lips. Before quickly replacing it with a deep look of focus. "... it is my duty to be a role model. Not just to the youth of this great country who so desperate need it, but to my peers in the wrestling community as well. And so, I can no longer just be content to put on my tights and have a match like I could a few hours ago. No, I must provide the members of the SJL with a person they can look up to and appreciate." "So with that new burdon on my mind, I went to McCaughlin's Irish Pub in order to see first hand the man I would be facing for the European Title and wish them good luck. But arriving at the Pub, I saw something incredibly.... incredibly wrong. Two great athletes throwing each other into juke boxes and over pool tables like two common thugs. And to make matters worse, one of those fine men, WildChild to be specific, had for a lack of better terms gone stark raving mad." "Not only had WildChild seemingly lost his grip on sanity, but he had been taking it all out on his European Champion, Timmy Dillon, much as he had against Manson on the SJL television show previous. And to be quite honest, I was scared. I was scared that WildChild might seriously injure Timmy and end his career right there if I didn't do something immediately. Thinking back on it, I even looked into WildChild's eyes and somehow I knew that he was about to do something hideous. And delving deep within my number one contender to the European Title self, I realized that I could not allow that to happen. So I stepped in and saved Timmy's life from that madman!" Ejiro slams his fist down on the desk as he starts to get a head of steam. "I mean honestly, WildChild. How can you look yourself in the mirror this morning after what you have done to poor Timmy? Trying to seriously hurt someone over some spilled beer? Honestly! Look at yourself, you whacko! Flying all over the ring, willy nilly without a care! Painting your face like you're The Ultimate Warrior or something! And for god's sake man, put on some shoes before you step on a nail! You. my friend, are on a path to self destruction." "But thankfully for you, there is a man that can help. You now have a number one contender to the European title, that is looking out for his fellow man. That man, Ejiro Fasaki, will be more than happy to lead the intervention that could save your life." "Listen to me, WildChild. Wipe the paint off your face and put on some boots, kid. Cause the marquee on the sign says wrestling and that's what you should be doing. There's no one out there coming to see your damn circus act. Listen to me. Listen to your number one contender to the European Title... and put on a headlock like you should have been doing from the beginnning." "This has been your number one contender to the European Title speaking... listen to me. I know better than you do."
Secret Agent 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2002 Bravo Ejiro! This promo sets a great mood for Ejiro's new personality. He is arrogant yet somehow it seems like he believes that he is truly doing Wildchild a favor. Plus Ejiro all dressed up sitting behind the desk almost reminds me somewhat of Regal's heel persona as WWF Comish, which is very cool. I was pleasntly amazed, and i am extremly excited to see your new direction take shape. Wildchild Vs Ejiro will deffinetly be something to keep your eye on. Keep up the excellent work there my good man.
Guest TheBostonStrangler Report post Posted October 23, 2002 Excellent work, Ejiro. You've really come a long way since you showed up here. Keep this up. I like the way your character is developing, and I hope that Wildchild will add his side to the feud soon.
