SJL Wrath for October 27, 2002

Location: Compaq Center in Houston, Texas

Due Date: Sunday at 4 PM EST

Send To: Crusen

SINGLES MATCH

Jack the Ripper vs. James Morin

The SJL’s newest recruit, James Morin, goes up against Jack the Ripper, who recently lost to Ejiro Fasaki in the Euro #1 Contender’s Match. Can the Boston-bred Morin (I love this guy already…) take out Jack, who has shown flashes of potential in the last few weeks?

Word Count: 3250

Send To: Suicide King

TABLES ELIMINATION MATCH

Wildchild vs. Johnny Dangerous vs. Christian Fury

Johnny Dangerous suffered a cruel defeat on Metal when he was eliminated from the Euro #1 Contendership match when Jack the Ripper destroyed him with a steel chair. Fury didn’t show up for his match, invoking the wrath of Godrea, and Wildchild was cost the European title when Ejiro Fasaki felt the need to interfere in Wildchild's match with Tim Dillon. Now, these three men, all in need of a win, go at it in a Tables Elimination match. The winner has a chance to really take a leap up the card with a win here. Winning would be very beneficial to your future. Showing up, however, is ESSENTIAL to your future here in the JL.

Rules: No DQ or countout. Last man to not be put through a table is the winner. The first man eliminated must be sent to the back. The person must be PUT THROUGH THE TABLE. Missing an aerial move/corner move will NOT eliminate a competitor.

Word Count: 4500

EUROPEAN TITLE MATCH

Tim Dillon© vs. Ejiro Fasaki

Ejiro Fasaki picked up a somewhat controversial win in the triple threat to determine a #1 Contender on Metal, after Johnny Dangerous was eliminated with the help of a steel chair. Meanwhile, Tim Dillion needed a lot of help from Ejiro to retain against Wildchild. In an odd twist of fate, Tim must now defend against the man who helped him retain. Can Ejiro capture his first SJL belt, or will Dillon, still thankful for retaining, hang on?

Rules: Countout/DQ are in full effect. Normal match rules.

Word Count: 4500

Send To: 5_moves_of_doom

WORLD TITLE MATCH

NO-DQ MATCH

Judge Mental© vs. Matt Myers

On Metal, Myers took out Kamikaze for #1 Contendership to the SJL World Title. On the same show, Judge Mental, the now-dominant champ, defeated Mike Van Siclen in an…interesting…inferno match. Now, with one man vanquished, Mental is immediately faced with an equally serious threat. Will Myers, hungry for SJL World Title gold, finally take home the title after an exhaustive climb to the top? Or will Mental, the SJL prodigy, triumph once again and re-re-reestablish his dominance? Only one way to find out!

Rules: DQ and countout are not in effect. Weapons and interference are legal, and all pinfalls/submissions must take place inside the ring.

Word Count: 5500

Send To: realitycheck

Umm, I haven't no showed once, and i don't think Wildchild has either.

Looks cool except you might want to check over the match history things on Wildchild and Dillon. It is a little off.

Yeah, you'd think that Essential thing would be for Spike or Kamikaze or something...

And the Euro Title thing is totally off. Dillon won the Bar Brawl due to Ejirofearence, and WildChild has never been Euro champ...

Sorry about some of the messages. I had two cards, and mixed and matched the descriptions incorrectly. I'll be editing them now.

And that, my friends and enemies, is why I've taken a year's residence in the JL. If you restart showering me with your hatred, it might move me to write for a show and fail... nah, that's a meaningless class, I can fail it along with this one, and this one too... ;)

Dude... what's this "King is lazy" and "better late than enver" crap? I didn't give you shit when you flaked last week. ;)

Glad you like my wrestler already. He's never had an official match yet. Well, can't waste much time. I need to write 3250 word match...not that it's hard or anything!

You'd be surprised, James. Once you get the hang of thinks, 3000 words is nothing.

Hell, I wrote a 750-word abdominal stretch in my last match, and a bunch of people said they didn't even notice how long it was.

And just remember that, while as a rule you can write a better match with more words, 3250 is the UPPER limit. You can write as few words as you feel you need to write a good match. It's good to get near the limit, but don't force another sequence if it will throw off the balance.

The better late than never isn't a knock on you, King. But King = lazy, and King = God. Does this mean God = lazy? Well, it would explain why he needed to take off a day after spending a few days creating the world and stuff. That lazy bum...
