Mick Foley was scheduled to be one of the guests on WWE Byte This on Friday, however, for whatever reason has pulled out of the appearance. Eric Bischoff and one of the cast members from MTV's Jackass! will be on the show.

I think Mick cancelled because of Raw, to be honest.

Yeah, he probably watched Raw to catch up on things before doing the show.

I can't say I really blame Foley for cancelling his appearance on Byte This, considering what happened on RAW.

Okay, *now* I can get angry over RAW. This was going to be the first time I've watched Byte This since Shane McMahon was on in '99... Damn! I don't blame Foley either, but.. crap!...

Foley left the WWF in the first place since the direction of the company was going to shit (his last appearance was the same night the Kiss My Ass club started I think) so I'm pretty sure he second guessed this appearance because of Raw, like you all have said.

[McMahon Mentality]Are you trying to say that sex with dead people is WRONG? Geesh, some people just don't "get it"![/McMahon Mentality]

(Hmmm, "McMahon Mentality", I should copyright this idea...)

Mick Foley's last appearance wasn't during the Kiss My Ass club stuff? If i remember right, it was the night after Survivor Series when Flair and Lawler came back that he left.

I also think that the kiss my ass club started that night so Regal could "keep" his job...

*sigh*, no no no NO. How many times must people be reminded of this...

...it was created because Vince McMahon is an adolecent pervert, remember?

Foley's last apperance on WWE TV was the night after Survivor Series...but that was recorded a week before.

His last live appreance was in Boston when he did the shoot on how the WWF sucked.

*sigh* How I miss the days of Bret Hart, HBK, Foley (Mankind), Owen, Vader just wrestling and the only storylines were all WRESTLING related. They were about one guy just not liking another or respect. I actually loved Mankind's gimmick when he first arrived. IT was twisted but, in a tasteful way.

Heh, I remember when Foley came out to the ring, basically with his head down and told the fans why he wasn't there the week before...because the booking team couldn't give Foley two minutes to cut a backstage skit with Edge or Christian or somebody.

That was a good semi-shoot promo because Foley felt that way OOC, which helped fuel his anger. It was almost like that promo he cut on The Rock after he found the book in the trash.

My already-high opinion of Foley just shot through the roof.

The WWF probably told him the deal was off because Foley would have said simply, "yeah I watch and god does that shit fucking suck. My one eyed purple viein monster could write better crap then this, hell I could shit out better crap."

He would have no reson NOT to shoot. He's got his money from the WWF and they dont license his stuff anymore, atleast like they used to.

And people have to ask why so man respect Mick.

WWE probably wasn't upset that he canceled either. Knowing that a fan would've asked Foley what he thought of recent storylines, and knowing that Mick would've given an honest answer.

I wonder if Mick will ever have anything to do with the company again.

Well, there was that one angle about Shawn hitting on Diana Smith. Drew MILLIONS I recall.

Kiss My Ass didn't start the night after Survivor Series did it? That couldn't have been almost a year ago.

It most definitely was the night after Survivor Series that the Kiss My Ass Club started. It's even on the Survivor Series DVD.

if that's an extra on the SurSer DVD...

I can't WAIT to see the No Mercy extras...

A BEHIND THE SCENES LOOK AT "THE TAPE" with HILARIOUS OUTTAKES:

HHH: Steph...stop moving or it won't look real...

I can, I was just playing along. :bonk:

The whole part where Mick was last seen on TV is a bit hazy, but I remember him being attacked and blooded, then Vince screaming in his face. Although I thought the KMA was much later...

I remember that when the XFL bombed the KMA came soon after, and a lot of us took it as Vince trying to make up for some personal issues, as well as a sign he was slowly losing his mind, and decided to get on an ego trip back at the company that WAS successful--the WWF.

I maintain the notion that Vince is going insane.

The last time Mick was on tv is when he did that pretaped segment for Raw the day before at Survivor Series where he got on Vince's jet and talked to him.
