Mick Foley cancels Byte This appearance

I wonder if this has anything to do with Bischoff being on the show? Wasn't Bischoff the one who made Schiavone blast Foley on Nitro the night he won the WWF Title?

Yeah, there's no one like Mick Foley to take a stand on ridiculous gimmicks and angles... Where's my Mr. Socko?

First off, Mr. Socko was a joke, and the people just started to like it, and ask for it, so he was giving the people what they wanted. I doubt there will be any Katie Vick corpse chants for HHH. (And they thought that Al Snow's HEAD was advocating violience against women?)

Second, I would also like to give props to Mick. He's the guy who put his (rather ample) BUTT out there to defend the WWE when they were being trashed as the worst show on TV. He ligitimately didn't think the show was really bad back then. But I'm sure now that it has gone from a few "naughty" parts (like the Ho's and Lingerie matches that at least would pop the crowd) to being patently offensive and unfunny and having zero entertainment value, Foley does not want to look like a fool for sticking by the product, especially since he financially and contractually no longer needs to.

The whole necro-act was just a lame setup for an old time HHH dick joke. And it wasn't even funny. At least when a show like South Park is offensive, it's usually offensive AND funny. This was just dumb.

All I'm saying is that Mick Foley was never one to shy away from doing some stupid, ridiculous, and pointless things in order to get himself over. Yeah, this angle is especially dumb, but Foley is being mildly hypocritical for a guy with his particular history.

You can't necessarily call him a hypocrite when you don't know the real reason he cancelled on them. I mean, to say that he cancelled because of RAW is just pure speculation. You can say "probably" and "I think" all you want, but that doesn't make it true.

Well, then everyone rushing to be all "Mick Foley is too good to be a part of blah, blah, blah" should have the same attitude.
