the soaps on Smackdown is alot less 6 feet under meets OZ meets Queer as Folks Meets Jerry Springer.

 

Smackdown its big Soaps was the Alliegation of the Undertaker screwing around on his Wife...WOW what a headline, and they even killed that angle nice and neat with that little heart to Heart between Tracy and Steph... isn't it nice when big breasted women can speak to each other so frankly.

 

But Raw.... it never ends..it just gets worse..and you'd think Necrophilla was the absolute ROCK BOTTOM.

I still don't see Smackdown's "Taker = CHEATER~!" as much of a soap opera angle. It seemed to me like legitimate mind games on Brock's part.

Who cares if the WWE gets mainstream attention? It's not like a million non-wrestling fans will all of a sudden watch WWE just to see necrophilia. Even at the poll at the website, at one time, I saw 70-75% of people not liking the the angle. Of course Vince won't care what we think, so starting next week, we will probably see another great angle....Kane turns into a sniper and stalks HHH...hey, the WWE does want mainstream attention.....

Yeah, but that's XPW I believe, or some shitty indy league that wishes they were ECW.

Just a theory, but given this and the other "controversial" angles we've seen in the recent past, in addition to Vince's reputation for being a sore winner (see: Montreal in 1997, WCW in 2001), is this his way of rubbing in the fact that the PTC are now powerless to say anything about what the WWE is doing? As much as I think Bozell is a wacko, I have this perverse urge to see him go off on Raw is Necrophelia and such.
