Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 check it out. I beleive it's #11.
LooseCannon25 Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I guarantee you that Joe Price wins that auction. He's the guy that owns www.championshipleather.com I would never pay that much money for a shitty ass belt like that one
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I'm thinking about buying it and trying to restore its credability.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Damn. I want to bid on being a Manager for The Truth. Decisions, Decisions.
Guest Downhome Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 It's a good thing WWE doesn't do this... "Sex With Corpse --- $HHH Holds you down"
Guest CED Ordonez Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Shouldn't this be in the NWA:TNA folder, bps?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I found a way to keep it on topic. That's the WWE title for sale there. Besides which...it's charity so shut it.
LooseCannon25 Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I wanna be The Truth's manager....just so i can play along to the racism angle cause i'm puerto rican. That would be fun.
ChrisMWaters Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Shouldn't this be in the NWA:TNA folder, bps? I think it could be in either. While it's from the NWA-TNA webpage, it's about at WWF/E title belt.
Guest razazteca Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I'll buy it then demand a Shocker vs Syxx Pac match
Guest Downhome Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 We should all pitch in and make it the official Smart Marks Championship, then whenever any of us go to WWE shows we each are given the honor to take it with us. We could, I dunno, beat Vince into a sleep with it or something
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I'd buy it than show up on WWE TV and announce a tournament to decide the new lightheavyweight champion. Crash holly would not be allowed.
Rob E Dangerously Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I wanna be The Truth's manager....just so i can play along to the racism angle cause i'm puerto rican. That would be fun. but, could you yell in Spanish at people?
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Well if Crash isn't invited, the Title means nothing.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Well, it figures the Light Heavyweight belt would end up in a TNA "We need some cash, so everything must go" sale. Still: Vince Russo assistant: Have you ever dreamed of producing talent for a segment. This is your opportunity to assist Vince during an NWATNA pay-per-view event Some Smark please buy this and when Vinny Ru hands you the script, strike out that little line that says "T&A Segment here" and write in "Wrestling Match"
Guest HartFan86 Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 31. Vince Russo assistant: Have you ever dreamed of producing talent for a segment. This is your opportunity to assist Vince during an NWATNA pay-per-view event. If behind the scenes is your interest and dream, this is your opportunity. (Transportation, lodging, and meal allowance will be included in the package). Current high bid: Tied between Lorenzo Papa, New York & Ian Alford, South Carolina - $500 32. Jerry Jarrett assistant: If your dream is to help produce a wrestling event, this bid is a must for you. The day begins with a production meeting of the entire staff and ends at the conclusion of the NWATNA pay-per-view event. This is your chance to spend the day with Jerry. (Transportation, lodging, and meal allowance will be included in the package). Current high bid: Corey McKinney, North Carolina $300 I must, repeat, must get some money....FAST.
LooseCannon25 Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I could yell at the people in spanish, but nobody would understand a word except Jorge Estrada. Oh well, it would be better that the hicks dont understand what im saying about them anyway
Guest razazteca Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 why would want to pay $500+ for the right to get coffee and donuts for Russo?
Guest Pop Culture God Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I'm gonna buy it, give it New Japan, and tell them to hold a J-Cup for it.
LooseCannon25 Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 psssst........how about we buy it and give it to Taka Michinoku being as noone was even as close to being a better champion as him....uuuummm......anyone know his address in Japan?
ChrisMWaters Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Hmm...I wonder... Does Duane Gill still have the old red-strap version of that belt? Waltman has the black strap Attitude logo one, I believe.
Guest Pop Culture God Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 You KNOW Dean Malenko was the greatest Light Heavyweight Champ ever. Give it to NJPW, hold a J-Cup, CIMA goes over, end of story.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 "Well, it figures the Light Heavyweight belt would end up in a TNA "We need some cash, so everything must go" sale." Um...it's for charities you shithead.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 why would want to pay $500+ for the right to get coffee and donuts for Russo? Perhaps it should be changed? "Winner gets to ask Vince Russo why he booked up to three (3) WWE, WCW, or NWATNA angles of your choice. Find out the reasoning behind Beaver Cleavage, Hugh E. Rection, or Miss TNA!" Still, I wouldn't mind sending in a 'revised' script with lots of wreslting. =b
LooseCannon25 Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Yeah, Dean Malenko was a great champion...the bet....but he still works for WWE....why give it back to them???
Guest Ravenbomb Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 I agree that it should get sent to TAKA Michinoku. He was the 'first' lightheavyweight champ, and if it went to Dean, then WWF could get their hands on it again, and we don't want that.
LooseCannon25 Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 God, just thinking about it we could have seen Malenko vs. Lynn, Taka vs. Lynn, Mysterio vs. Taka.....damn, WWE missed the boat on that
Guest Zero_Cool Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 I wish I had a few thousand dollars lying around, because I would by that in a heartbeat. I wonder how high the temptation would be to hit someone in the head with it when they're not paying attention.
LooseCannon25 Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 I think i would buy it....buy front row tickets to Survivor Series, and when HHH is whipped into the guard rail or thrown in the crowd i'll do it Shane O' MAc style with a running head start and clock him in the face with the belt. I'll be happy as hell by busting him open......and then i'll get killed by security
Guest mach7 Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 So, did Waltman buy this belt off of WWE? I know he was the last guy to officially hold the title.. but last time I checked, WWE owns all their title belts. Can't TNA get in shit for this? Hopefully not, but I wouldn't put it past the McMahon's to screw with something even if it is for charity. ;p
