Note to self, you cant win because, A, everyone thinks technology is the best thing and its magical wonderful powers are the best things ever, and B, people dont believe world peace is possible.

A. Technology, like anything else, is inherently neither good nor evil. It can be used for either purpose by anyone with the knowledge and intentions to do so. Technology is not the "best thing ever," but it has given us a lot of very useful things over the years. Anything can be used for evil, but you have to realize it's the people who are responsible for that, not the implement.

 

B. It's not. You're awfully optimistic for a "cynic."

I dont see the good in nuclear weapons, you could argue defense, but guns were atleast handheld, and its I am making this choice to kill, line of defense atleast lets you be more accurate in who you kill, where Nukes just kill everyone in an area wether they are involved in the issues that caused for the nuke dropping or not.

 

I have hope for a great ending, no matter what you think or how you feel, I think that thought remains deep within everyone.
