Guest edotherocket Report post Posted October 24, 2002 I think the general feeling with the Hulk DVD is that there is a lot of shit on there but because there is a LOT of shit on there, it's actually quite a good DVD. Hypothetically (since its pretty unlikely), which other WWF stars would you like to see get a 2 disc DVD with the volume of matches that the Hulk one has? I've love to see one for Savage. The guy seems to be a huge egomaniac, completely out of his mind and would be a great subject for a documentary. His promos were decent and they could put his matches with Hogan, Warrior, Steamboat and Flair plus clips of his wedding, when he was The Macho King and so on. Incidentally, what is up with the Rock:JBI Collectors Edition having 20 promos and only 1 match on it?
Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Report post Posted October 24, 2002 This sort of set is best for retired/nearly retired wrestlers, as a kind of definitive career retrospective. And in that sense, Savage is a good candidate. I think Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels would also be good choices.
EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2002 Steve Austin doesn't have a "Complete" DVD. I'd like to see him get one. Ditto for UT, but that's just becuz I liked his old stuff.
Guest edotherocket Report post Posted October 24, 2002 Actually, what ARE the chances of any DVDs like this happening? Shawn Michaels - reasonable. He's with the fed now. Bret Hart - on speaking terms with Vince! (apparently)...see where that goes. Austin - wait and see. certainly not any time soon and it can be argued that if he does return, he'd still have a couple of years in him. Savage - hahaha ...no. Guest Si82 Report post Posted October 24, 2002 I would love to see Ric Flair, Chris Benoit, Mick Foley and Chirs Jericho DVD's. And if Vince gets the ECW tape library then add Raven to that list. I know most of these guys aren't retired/nearly retired wrestlers but Ric is and he's had some great matches over the years that Vince now owns.

Guest Choken One Report post Posted October 24, 2002 I can easily see Shawn getting the DVD treatment as a "Thank you" to his service...That should be loaded. Mick Foley will likely get a complete career package. I can see Austin getting a DVD...as long as he gets no of the money. Ric Flair won't get a HULK sized set but a DVD retrospective is likely. Undertaker will easily get a 2 disc special WCW...MARK MY WORDS...WILL get one...I expect a 2DISC...Greatest matches and greatest bumbles. Bret Hart could wind up getting one because vince lives to tell the story as often as possible.
Guest Grenouille Report post Posted October 25, 2002 Forget the Hogan treatment. For some of these people I'd rather have the Riki Choshu treatment(6 discs). Kurt Angle-In a few years this could be awesome Randy Savage Bret Hart Shawn Micheals Austin Foley Ted DiBiase-I'll keep dreaming....
Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted October 25, 2002 Benoit, Eddy and Flair deserve them simply because of the WCW Footage that WWE owns. Oh, and Bob, I know you're a gigantic/obsessive Regal mark, but get real! His best matches in WCW were against Finlay and his best stuff in the WWE is barely *** (vs Jericho at WM X7). That's DVD-worthy? Now slap the Regal vs Benoit from the Pillman show on there and you're talking some sense....
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted October 25, 2002 Well the Regal comp I reviewed for 411 (thumbs up, cheap pop) would make a good DVD. And that tape didn't have any Finlay matches.

Guest bob_barron Report post Posted October 25, 2002 It'd be awesome for the ladder DVD or HIAC DVD if you could get commentary from the wrestlers
Guest cynicalprofit Report post Posted October 25, 2002 I think commentary should be REQUIRED for all future DVDS. It adds so much more to the match when the guys talk about it. The WM2000 dvd with the 3 commentaries by jericho, angle, and benoit, make the dvds worth buying alone. Foley wont happen, hes gone pretty much. Austin, gone...doubt it, let on really bad terms. Shawn, possibly, more likely then the others, hes on good terms and all his work was WWF, even though in the dvds itll say wwe all over the wwf reference. Bret, if he comes back, nope. At the funeral, Bret sk for his footage back, Vince wants it for himself. So if Bret comes back, I'm willing to bet he's not gonna let Vince have it. He might but out a DVD set with some Canadian company, which fucks over us region 1 ppl(i think) Flair, needs to happen. They could easily do 3 or 4 disc, theres that much to work with. And I'm sure flair would love to sit and talk about his matches, and im sure hes got more stories to tell then just about anyone in wrestling today. He's been wrestling since the 70's, how can you NOT devote a DVD set to that man. There should be a best and worst of WCW set, hell it could be 4 disc, 2 for each. Sure it would be 50, but it would be worth it if they know what to put on it.
