Buyrates, merchandise sales, and the live gate are FAR more important to the WWE. The thing about ratings, is that the above three things are usually a subgroup of the ratings (ie. people won't pay if they won't watch for free), but people who only watch RAW or Smackdown aren't any good either. Obviously a 6.0 is better than a 3.0, but when you start worrying about a 0.1 increase or decrease every week it becomes pointless. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
