Guest Zero_Cool Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Who in WWE would even take the Screwdriver? Richards? He did take the Vertebreaker.
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 AS- True, Steiner isn't Holly, but I still think Lesnar could take him out.
Guest godthedog Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 it isn't the wrestlers that don't want the head-dropping moves in matches, it's vince. i bet probably half the locker room would be willing to take it.
Guest Dace59 Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Screw Driver as in games (suplex to inverted piledriver) was only ever done a few times. Owen, Konnan.. and by Lyger. The version he uses now is a Cradle Inverted Piledriver.
Guest Banky Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 I don't think Steiner could take on Lesnar, but I bet he could hold him own. I am hoping he has the ticking time bomb gimmick (ie. Pillman RIP) and use it correctly. If they use him as the outta control heel, I'd love it.
Guest Gary Busey Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 I was under the impression that it took so long for Steiner to come into the WWE not because of his medical condition, but because he wanted so much money. He felt he was worth about equal that of Nash and Hall when they were signed (about $750,000 per year), but the WWE only wanted to pay him about half that. He knew they'd fcuk themselves over and eventually come to him willing to pay any price, so he waited until he got the amount he wanted. Much like Goldberg is doing. Funny how Steiner was signed days after the necro angle, when the WWE went into extreme panic mode that their worst wasn't going to draw fans. Of course, it won't stop them from trying to go lower then their already bottom level writing.
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Wait, who's this yoga enthusiast? Richards takes whatever they want him to, he was on his way to being a good-great worker(if he fulfilled all of his potential) until Terry Funk fucked up his vertebrae permanently by piledriving on a chair. That sucks. On the upside, Gary Busey, star of such classics as Tommy Boy, and the 'B' movie of the month, is now posting on this board. WHOO~!

Guest Pop Culture God Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Guys, if BPP tried something with Lesnar we may see a few more Ganso Bombs or who knows even a Tiger Driver 91?
Guest Zero_Cool Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Busey was in Black Sheep, but not Tommy Boy...
Guest deadbeater Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 If Steiner by miracle gets back to his old 1991 tilt-a-whirl-powerslam-standing-Frankensteiner self, he will be stupid over. I do not want him to go out like Superstar Billy Graham.
Guest bravesfan Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 If they're so honest, how come there aren't any negative ones? I'm not saying everyone shares my negative attitudes towards the steroid sicko, but surely someone on the roster has at least a petty conflict with him. I meant they were honest with the product...check out the subtitle of this thread... Well, Scotty WAS the best heel that WCW had for the last 2 years (though that might not be saying anything)...so Palumbo is truthful on that regard.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Wait, who's this yoga enthusiast? DDP. Best heel? What, Goldberg and Vampiro are supposed to be tough company? Steiner is a buffoon who can't form a fully audible sentence anymore than he can go two minutes without injurring someone.
Guest godthedog Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 If Steiner by miracle gets back to his old 1991 tilt-a-whirl-powerslam-standing-Frankensteiner self, he will be stupid over. I do not want him to go out like Superstar Billy Graham. that's exactly how he'll go out, fellow lover of molly's ass. he has no athleticism left, the scott stenier of 1990 is gone forever.
Guest notJames Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 ...his old 1991 tilt-a-whirl-powerslam-standing-Frankensteiner self... That was about 10 years and 50 lbs. of bloated horse muscles ago. Let the dream die. I for one will be hoping for Revenge of the Quad Pt. 3: Steiner's Turn. And I hope it happens while he has HHH hoisted above him upside-down. Two birds with one stone.
Guest Paranoid Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Rob Steiner is the lost Steiner brother. He couldn't suplex very well so they locked him in a cage in the basement They only fed him biscuits and mustard once a day!
Guest converge241 Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 if there was ever a guy who fit the new direction - BPP is that guy he should have some interesting promos
Guest notJames Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Yeah, "fucking a corpse" would be Rated PG-13 compared to the gibberish he spews.
