Well i just had to post the thread first.

 

I haven't read the whole thing yet but so far looks good.

 

Congrats Wildchild, you clocked my ass good on that match.

 

Ejiro the Eurochamp? Another congrats!

 

And last but not least Matt Myers!! NEW CHAMP! The one to finally topple Judge Mental! A big atta boy to you, sir! Although i fear the retaliation from Mental.

Jack get better every week. I love the intensity he puts into his matches.

 

No one was more surprised than I was to see my match posted. But, when viewed as a mosiac with the rest of the card, it seems to work out much better than I ever thought it could. I just hope the other writers don't mind me dragging them along in my storyline too much... Ejiro wins the Euro Title, and now business is really gonna pick up!

 

Judge Mental is like the Terminator; that said, Matt Myers wrote a helluva match!

 

I thought it was a very interesting card overall.

Both the new guys are going to have to add more desciption to thier moves as they pull them off in actuall competition. Not to worry though, guys, I think just about everyone goes through that stage, other than Judge Mental, so I have absolutely no doubt that you guys can do it to. Oh, and Dace, Edwin isn't on commentary anymore, although I would hope that Crusen already told you that..

 

SINGLES MATCH

Jack the Ripper vs. James Morin

 

Good psychology from Jack, grounding Morin before putting him away. The anklelock from the tree of woe is a pretty good spot that I would work into more matches. I'm not a big fan of the Tiger Wall Flip myself, but that's a personal bias. Can I just say again, how much better this is than your early stuff? It's SOOOO much better. Putting the Johnny run in at the end was pretty cool, using a Jack The Ripper cane after Jack has already ruined all of Johnny's stuff.

 

TABLES ELIMINATION MATCH

Wildchild vs. Johnny Dangerous vs. Christian Fury

 

Looks like we're setting up a tag match with that finish with WC/Johnny v Ejiro/Jack which is pretty cool if you ask me. I especially like the forshadowing you used with WC and Johnny double teaming Fury out of the match. My favorite match of the night, it was just so well written if you ask me.

 

Do you know the Muffinman? The Muffinman? Ms. Muffin seems to have a preordained past, and thats cool.

MVS was prophetic with his promo last week so [Y] to that. Lot's of near falls, I would have prefered a less spotty contest, but still, a good showing for THEE new heavyweight champion. The reign of Brother Red begins... good show Matt.

Man, this is some good stuff here. Congrats to Ejiro (Whoo!) and Matt, even though I'm a bit sad to see Mr. Mental lose his title.

Well, I've finally lost. (Y) at someone beating me, (N) for losing the world title. At least a get a little break now to promo and build character and stuff like that, and it looks like a much more worthy match beat my hardcore spotfest (And I swear to God, if there is rope break in a No-DQ match, Taft shall die...). I really didn't understand the unwritten differences between the two matches, so that killed me. Oh, and the lack of flow. Oh yeah, and basically having a spotfest. Well, after little break of mine, I'd like to say one thing: Myers, you think you're happy now, but you are a marked man. Every kid with a word processing program, a modem, and a rudimentary knowledge of wrestling is gonna be coming up to you askin' for a match. Welcome to hell, kid . Expect better comments tonight when I get to read through the show.

 

Okay, some brief things:

Well, I skimmed the show. Don't know if I'll comment on everything, but here it goes:

 

The match that I marked, the WC/Dangerous/Fury match, was quite good. Wildchild wrote himself the win, but Dangerous came pretty close, and made my decision hard. Wildchild, your writing is VERY good. Keep it up. Dangerous, read a couple of his matches to get that idea, and you'll be winning consistently too, as some of the matches in your match were very original. Keep it up, both of you. And Fury, I await a reason for your no-show.

 

Ejiro wrote another dandy. This kid is really coming on now. If he keeps writing like this, it's gonna be damn hard to get the Euro off of him.

 

Jack, your match was a testament to how much better you've become since you first showed up here. I was one of the first people you fought here, and back then, you were pretty lousy. However, you're definitely showing some improvement. Keep it up, and good things will happen.

 

I was digging the promos. Good to see some angles developing.

 

Not bad work on the dark matches. Morin needs to get a better feel for writing SWF matches, while Dace has a good feel for wrestling. Read some of Mental's matches, or go to the WF and check out their stuff. That'll give you a good idea of how to add some drama to moves, and how to really describe what's going on. Writing isn't quite as important as wrestling, but it sure is enough to hand you a loss.

 

And oh yeah....that Myers jackoff won. Congrats to him.

 

 

But seriously, Myers, I'm very proud of you. When I was first getting started in CC, you were a fairly struggling writer around the TV level. You were always THIS close to winning when you wrote for me, but you couldn't quite get over the hump. To your credit, you stuck with it. You almost always showed up, and you were constantly seeking to improve your matches. You even tried to get involved in storylines, although doing it with Jack and Reaper might not have been the best idea. Anyways, it looks like you finally did get over the hump. I get the feeling that Judge will probably get his rematch pretty soon, so you better be ready to defend that sucker. Until then, enjoy your win, and the feeling of being JL champ. The longer you wait, the better it tastes.
