i got into the other cities in GTA 3 that way

For the mission where you have to save Lance, do this...

 

1) Go buy or find armor.

 

2) Get full health.

 

3) Buy or find a Sniper Rifle.

 

4) Buy or find a Shotgun and plenty of amunition.

 

5) Start the mission by ramming the cars at the entrance with a vehicle, thus taking out most of the guys at the start.

 

6) Take out your shotgun and simply plug away at the guys for a while, charging through.

 

7) Not far into the junkyard, you will find a wall to hide behind, as shots are coming towards you, from seemingly nowhere.

 

8) Pull out your sniper rifle and aim for the single guy who is atop a crane or something like that.

 

9) After that guy is taken care of, pull the shotgun back out and kill the three guys at the entrance and inside the little garage that Lance is in.

 

10) Pick Lance up, and kill anyone who comes at you on foot right there.

 

11) Get into the Sentinal and take off towards the hospital.

 

12) Stay off of the main roads, take shortcuts through backyards, allys, etc....

 

13) Drop him off at the hospital.

 

...this mission can be done without loosing ANY armor or health, period. When I did it, on the way to the hospital our car caught fire and we had to bail. We then kicked a guy off of a motorcycle and cruised past the gang members on that bad boy all the way to the hospital...

 

...pretty sweet if you ask me.

 

I'm having a damn time on "Rub Out" personally. No, not because I'm having trouble living, I can make it almost to the end of the mission without being hit once. MY problem is Lance keeps dying, and for THAT...

RC, the key to this is to just take time to learn the controls. Start up a mission a few times and just fly the copter around, not even worrying about the objective. Get yourself familier with the controls, and then it will be easy as taking a dump.

 

Tank, go th the convoy, and simply follow them for a while. Not too long after you are there, the convoy will stop so one of the guards can go get some doughnuts. At that moment, all you have to do is run up to the tank, press TRIANGLE to get in it, and just drive it to the garage that is on your map.

 

If you do these two things for these respective missions, you will get them done in no time!

Jump on a bike and do a drive-by on them. Did I mention how awesome the motorcycles are?

 

I'm proud to say I haven't used one cheat yet in this game, but I'll probably have to use the money code to buy the film studio (does the strip club serve ANY purpose?)

Hmm.......well I'm a a crossroads. I've bought a lot of property and i have barely any money left.

I need to finish the last Kaufman Cab Mission where you get Mercedes but I can't get down to where the stupid bitch is.

Or I can go to Love Fist.....haven't tried them yet.

Or I can go have the barroom brawl as a Vercetti mission.

Whatever though I need money!

 

And oh yeah? How do you make your properties like the Strip Club generate money!? I haven't gotten any money from anything yet!

 

Oh and how do you destribute those Cherry Poppers!?

Yes, after you buy it, it can make you a TON of money. You can't just buy it, there is something you must do AFTER you buy it.

When you are on the street where the guy you are to kill is, you have quite a few options...

 

1) Do a drive by, just shooting like a mad ass crazy son of a, and get hope you get lucky and hit the right guy.

 

2) Get a good strong vehicle, and just aim for the arrow and run him over.

 

3) Drive up, cause some trouble, and let the guy drive off. This then leads to him actually leaving the "shelter" of all of his friends. Wait for when he is just alone on the road, and ram away, or do a drive by on his vehicle. If you get lucky, it will flip, and catch fire, he'll then climb out to run away, and you can either just gun him down, or just run him over, whichever you choose!

 

...I went with option three, as it was the most fun for me.

I've killed Diaz and gotten his mansion, and bought a bunch of hideouts. I've also bought the Cherry Poppers Ice Cream Company and the Strip Club.

 

Two things:

 

1) Shouldn't the two businesses be making me money? That doesn't seem to be happening.

 

2) Is there a way to acquire the boatyards, and the helipad as a result? I coulda sworn there was a "Buy me!" icon around there earlier in the game, but I can't find it anymore.

Gotta get in the truck and do it yourself. Just turn on the jingle (L3) and pull over next to some people, they'll come to you if interested. Just watch out for the cops.

Yep, the boatyard is up for sale ($10K), don't know about the helipad, though.

Bah...I had been playing the game for a while, NO CHEATS! Then that goddamn Death Row mission was just pissing me off SOOOOOO bad.

 

So I cheated and got me a tank, vowing to be my only cheat. My score got cut by 900 or so, dropped me to -400, I could live with that.

 

But when I get back to my pad my chopper wouldn't spawn back...and I find out it won't come back...so I try saving over my game with an old file, Still no chopper.

 

Now I gotta erase that from my card and start from scratch.

Actually it will come back eventually. For some strange reason it appears sometimes and someties it doesnt. Very weird.

No, when I didn't cheat it would spawn I'd say 3/4 times. If it wasn't there I'd leave and when I came back it was usually there.

 

After the cheat I must have checked back 30 times...no chopper.

I'm in the same boat as Youth N Asia. All though it was my game that fucked up saving (or loading). I saved at the Cherry Poppers after having failed a Juju scramble attempt and from that point on it would never load that save game. So I was back to the start as well although that was a while ago I did that.

 

I still didn't figure out how to make money with the Strip Club although I was making money with the Vercetti Mansion. All you have to do is complete all the missions and just drop by and there is like 5000 waiting for you everytime.

 

Easy way to finish the two bit hit is to get a bike and drive behind the Pizza Parlour. the Haitian boss is right there as you come around the back of the pizza shop. Leave the bike around the first corner so it is facing the correct way for an escape. Then just go around the last corner with a shotgun or something. You will have only about 3 other haitians to deal with besides the boss. I don't think I took a hit when I did it. And it's an easy getaway as well. No one seemed to follow me.

If so, just park a getaway car away from them and hurl a grenade at the crowd, then haul ass to the car and take off.

I just picked up my copy at Fry's Electronics. They were stocked up on it. I havent played it yet but I will right..............Now!!!!

In my game, the chopper either regenerates at the "DOWNTOWN POLICE STATION" (the police Maverick) or my house (the orig. Maverick).

 

It's either or. You won't find Mavericks at BOTH locations.

 

Youth, try looking on the rooftop of the police station for that helicopter. Destroy that one, and your house helipad should regenerate again.

I actually started over this morning.

 

I pretty much worked my way to the same spot I was in...no cheats.

 

Now I'm a little further, I killed Diaz and have done all the missions I can for the Cubans without doing the Hatian ones let.

 

That's really Miss Cleo who does the voice, I looked in my book.

 

So now I have choppers at my $14,000 hideout and at the mansion.

Has anyone bought the film studio? That "Dildo Dodo" mission is a bitch. I hate flying that plane. I almost had the mission complete the second time through then my plane decided to nosedive for no apparent reason and I couldn't pull it back up. Any tips on flying the planes or even flying the Top Fun RC planes in that other mission?

 

EDIT: Never mind. I passed it. And two missions later may be the greatest mission in the game thus far. Jump from roof to roof on a motor bike. WOOT~!
