Guest CanadianChick Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Smackdown looks like it should be good yet again. I'm especially looking forward to Lesnar vs. Mysterio, just to see if Mysterio manages to get a win over Lesnar. Hey, if it's non-title, that could happen, and I hope it does. Benoit vs. Edge sounds like it will definately be a superb match, same with Angle vs. Guerrero. Unless there is interference of some sort, I don't see Rey winning, even if it is non-title. WWE just made Brock look real strong against Undertaker and winning clean. I don't think that having Rey Misterio, a upper mid-carder at best, beat him will help that heat too much.

Oh, no--Rey won't be the one to pin Brock, that'll be saved--hopefully to put over a new star and NOT be wasted on HHH. Although it'd be awesome to see Rey come close. With Brock wresting as a face now, I wonder how his reactions will be?
Guest AndrewTS Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Also, match listing for Velocity, from 411--some of these are likely dark matches, though: ---- I’m not sure which matches will be on Velocity, but the background was up for all of these matches. - Val Venis vs. Ernest “The Cat” Miller, who cut a heel promo that my friend Casey labeled (appropriately as “very WCW”) before the match. Miller looked horrible. - Shelton Benjamin vs. Bull Buchanan. Benjamin looked okay, Bull is terrible. - Albert vs. some jobber whose name I didn’t catch. Albert tried to cut a funny promo about being “wicked sexy,” but it didn’t go over. Me, Casey, and Matt went to go get food. - Billy Kidman & Funaki vs. Jamie Noble & Crash in a pretty decent little match. - Chuck Palumbo vs. D-Von. Neither man looked very good. - Chavo Guerrero (who I decided has the best entrance music ever) vs. some jobber. ---- Eh...well, guess Vel's gonna be kinda blah.
Guest notJames Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 I can definitely see Brock either catching Rey on the 619 or the 'rana pin attempt, then swinging him into position for the F-5 with ease. Kinda like HHHe-Man beating up Inflatable Katie Vick last Monday. I too will be taping over RAW, while I take my 14-month old son out for his first trick-or-treat.
Guest Goodear Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 I think Matt Hardy also took on Tajiri.
Guest AnnieEclectic Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Damn, they should have put Show/Kish on Velocity and bumped Mattitude/Tajiri up to SD! C'mon, that reeks of ratings right there... plus, I want Mattitude~! After seeing it for the first time last week I'm hooked. God damn Hardy and his lovable gimmick. Argh. -Annie
Guest Goodear Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Actually, Annie, it appears as though Matt/Tajiri is on SmackDown and the first post in this thread just missed it. Should bump the possible good matches count to 4, which is fine by me.
Guest godthedog Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Aside from the last two matches which'll definitely suck, the top 3 should be friggin AWESOME! I'll be taping this baby right over RAW. you taped raw? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Guest notJames Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Better than watching it live, no?
