Reports have it that Vince McMahon was shocked that RAW's rating dropped to a 3.4 this week. He was very convinced that RAW's new, more shocking direction would draw a larger audience, and in the least, not cause current viewers to stop watching.

 

Right now it is unknown whether WWE will accept the low rating and once again change directions, or whatever they will stick it out for awhile longer with the controversial approach. Most in WWE hope that the direction of the past two weeks is dropped, as the McMahons are really the only major players supporting the direction.

Something that we can watch and say, "That was a great match." We only enjoy the entertainment if a good match is somehow involved. You have Rob Van Dam, Booker T, Tommy Dreamer, Lance Storm, William Regal and FUCKING SCOTT STEINER, and yet, HHH, a man whose leg could fall off at any time, and Kane, a man who was never really over, are now feuding over a title GIVEN to HHH...but this whole necrophilia shit...get over it. Go write for the Young and the Restless. You watch SmackDown!? You watch guys like Edge, Rey, Chavo, Eddie, Benoit, and Angle go out and bust their asses for people>? You see how over they all are? Seriously, if this angle had "worked" (However that was supposed to happen), how do you build a dynasty off it? It's very simple. Stabilize both shows with the best wrestling and straightforward angles. Build up the new guys, and phase the old guys out. Stop trying to instantly create another Austin. That person will come along in time, and probably will occur naturally, not because they got the artificial push from hell.

Bischoff towards the end, at least the end of his control Was losing it when he tried to fix the problem by offering Nitro viewers a Million dollars, or had concerts on like every other week

 

Vince was in the crapper before then pulled it out, problem is now he doesn't have a compeditor to compete with. Thats the real fault. if Vince has a rival Company to compete with then we probably go back to true wrestling angles again to beat them. With no one in sight to be rivals people got to lazy and let themselves listen to HHH or Steph or Dunn or whomever is writing this feces!

Hire writers that have written and booked successfully. Have enough of them to balance each other out. I suggest a committee of bookers with the following people mixed in:

Terry Taylor

Dusty Rhodes (comes up with good angles just don't let him book finishes)

Eric Bischoff

Paul Heyman

 

 

No wrestlers should be allowed to book at all and if any McMahons are involved it should only be Shane.

You know, the fact that WrestleMania was a PPV event each year and Clash of the Champions was on Free TV probably didn't have anything to do with the difference in viewership. And how can you compare a buyrate to a television rating, let alone from two events that happened in 1989?

I suspect they won't make any real changes until we get our first sub-3.0 show, and panic if it gets as low as 2.5, which at this rate would be sometime around the holiday season. Of course, that'd be a ready excuse for them to use as well...

I doubt it, but hopefully this will be a wake up call to Vince McMahon. I don't know what cased him to wake up back when WCW was kicking his ass in the mid 90's, but hopefully this does something similar.
