I'm talking about the stuff that really sits with you, the stuff that makes you go "Ah Christ! I didn't need to see that."

I'm going with the dead baby from Trainspotting, that really was burned into my brain for a while, even though I knew it was a prop, it still got to me.

The ending of Sleepaway Camp. One of the true "what the fuck?" moments in film history.

When Dane Lane takes it from behind in the staircase by the French dude in Unfaithful.

The entire bathroom scene in Full Metal Jacket.

Tom Hanks despondently firing his sidearm at the Tiger tank in Saving Private Ryan.

2 scenes in 'deliverance': the rape scene (obviously), and the dream at the end.

COUNTLESS scenes in 'gummo': the retarded girl saying she breastfeeds her baby, the 8-year-old kids yelling obscenities, the rat-faced boy in the bathtub, the 2 brothers in a fist fight, the fight with the chair...i'll stop there.

kim novak finally made over in 'vertigo', & jimmy stewart embracing her.

ASS TO ASS

I assume you are referring to the movie Requiem for a Dream. If so, yes that was hilarious stuff, but also rather disturbing at the same time.

If anyone here has seen the movie Cannibal Holocaust, when the "turtle scene" happens, i almost vomited. Pretty much that whole movie actually.

The scene with the splinter in Lucio Fulci's Zombie also had me cringing in digust.

I third that part in The Ring.

The end of Innocence Betrayed (A soft-coreish Hand that Rocks the Cradle rip-off in case you hadn't seen it.) "Where's the baby?!" Fucking weird if you hadn't slept at all that night.

In the beginning of "The Exorcist III" (which I think is better than part 1 btw) when the statue of Jesus opens its eyes.

The "toy car" scene in "Jackass:The Movie". (If you've seen it you'll know what I'm talking about)

I gotta go w/ the rape and kill scene in 8mm. That whole movie was pretty disturbing and scary. It made me sick.

For those of you who have seen the Jay & Silent Bob DVD, the deleted scene in which they get high in the rip-off Mystery Machine and imagine Scooby getting a hard on.

Theres also the easter egg on that disc with Jay's balls.

One thing which wasn't too good was the dieing soldier in Saving Private Ryan with what looks to be his intestines next to him, calling out for his mother.

I got two scenes in Saving Private Ryan I can't watch even today:

1)The guy getting hit by a bullet on his helmet, taking it off and the guy telling him he's a lucky fuck, then the back of his head gets blown out. (Additionally in Starship Troopers, when Casper Van Diem accidentally shoots that poor rube's head off during the live ammo exercise)

2)The German sniper getting shot right through the eye by Barry Pepper

It's the Chinatown nose slice for me.

Honorable mention goes to the drawing of the blood in John Carpenter's remake of The Thing. I have very little problem with the big exploding death monsters in that film, but the instant they use the razors to slice open the tips of their fingers...ick, getting chills just typing.

As a kid, seeing Murphy get his hand blown off and the actual shot of it really disturbed me.

As did one of the heavies crashing into a vat of toxic waste and coming out completely deformed.

That wasn't Steely Dan being played in Reservoir Dogs, it was Steeler's Wheels. :-)

I gotta go with Buffalo Bill in drag in Silence of the Lambs...."You wanna fuck me? I'd fuck me." I really didn't need to see that, haha.
