A disappointing show, to say the least. The two blowoff matches (MVS vs. Logan, Christian Fury vs. Spike) were funny, but still dumb. MVS, please: At least Holly made it look SOMEWHAT like a wrestling match. The Ladder match was very good, and Dace's was good as well. I'll get more comments when I review the full show.

Wallet Chain from hell match? You're kidding right? Dialogue was a little meh, and substituted cursing for actual heat between the two. I think Matt and MVS need an injection of HATE. But its not like I'm superstar writer guy so I'll shut up.

Spike Jenkins vs. Christian Fury

 

I think Spike could have benefitted with a little more description out of the smoke out on Christian. Maybe some screaming in pain and such. And Dr. Chokesondick was pretty unneeded.

 

SINGLES MATCH

James Morin vs. Dace Night

 

You've got the moves down Dace, you just need to add in that detail. Detail is what makes a match all the more readable. Check out Judge Mental's matches for some good examples of what I'm talking about. This is perfectly fine for a 2nd effort though.

Uhhh.... yeah.

 

HARDKORE MATCH

Johnny Dangerous vs. Jack The Ripper

 

Solid stuff, Jack. Way solid. What is up with Muffin KOing the referee to save JD and then costing him the match at the end? Wacky.

I win again while losing... I better hope WC never actually wants the Euro title because I'll never be able to hold on against him I went totally more OH DEAR LORD with Tim's injury and was planning to follow it up with the same kind of stuff WC wrote into the match. But WC beats me to the chase. So be it.

I'll second part of that. What is up with all the cussing lately? I mean I know it doesn't get us in trouble on these boards but is it really needed? About the farthest i ever go is Son of a Bitch. But i consider that to be pretty tame. Hell the Simpsons say that.

 

The rest of the show was pretty good. Jack whooped up on my 2000 word match damn good, and played up Ms. Muffin rather nicely. Dace Night pulls out an excellent match for a second effort as well.

 

MVS..what happened here? How is HE even getting title shots? (Chain Wallet from Hell Match)There are some of us here who have been writting consistentaly(sp?) for 10+ shows straight, and no i'm not really talking about me either. I know i have been spirling downwards in my laziness on the matches but still, I show.

Alright, well what happened was, I didn't know if I was going to write or not. So I decided on a short thing, since I knew that Fury was going to no show. I decided to go with the ribs since he basically injured them in the table match. So, I decided to go all heelish, and beat up Fury with a really small match. And with Dr. Chokesondick. He was used in another fed I was in, in a comedy promo, so I decided to bring him back.

1) I agree 100% Matt, Mike, the cursing really ruined it. You should of at least bleeped it out or something.

 

2) I like the Wallet Chain from Hell Match. It's new. It's inventive. And it goes with Matts new PUNK star character. BTW Matt, I think you should work a little more on your punk style.

 

3) Why not mention my match? Pfft.

 

4) Mike is getting the title shot....BECAUSE ITS ALL BACKSTAGE POLITICS! Mike is holding us ALL down.

 

Actually, Mike won a number 1 contenders match, but since then has been booked in pretty crappy matches against guys that aren't even here. Mike deserves his title shot, because when he is on, HE IS ON. Dont worry JB, you will get your shot...

Eh... I figured I'd get that, and actually agree with most of it. That was shit, and normally I'd say I was loaded this week...

 

...which I was. But I had all day Monday and most of Wednesday to write, and didn't. So when I asked Tod if Logan had showed (no offence Thor, but like I needed to) on Thursday, he told me I had to hurry and get something in, like, fast. Well... my wrestling-related mind had been absolutely SHOT all week (I could barely sit through the last half of Raw, which is highly unusual for me) and it was Halloween night, so I figured I had to throw together something... and that's what you get.

 

Onto the promo... twas meh, I agree. I edited my own dialogue in there, and I realized it was nothing special as I wrote it... but on the flip side, there's no reason for us to hate each other unless you want to drag up past history for a feud that never actually happened. So say what you will, but there's bound to be not-too-much hate there.

 

And... that's my comments, I s'pose. If I read a match (ha, don't count on it), I'll edit it in, otherwise... Happy post-Halloween.
