Your Paragon of Virtue 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2002 To whomever said that the winner becomes the Number One Contender only started in 1993, I specifically remember watching Royal Rumble 1991, and hearing Gorilla Monsoon talk about how the winner will go on to Wrestlemania.
