Guest SP-1 Report post Posted November 2, 2002 I prefer to make my own banners. These are two older ones that I'm rather fond of. I'd like to bring them back, but I want to see if there's soemthing you guys think would help make them better. 1. 2. Which do you think is better? -SP
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted November 2, 2002 The second one is real cool, so it gets my vote.
Guest papacita Report post Posted November 2, 2002 I like the first one better, although it'd be a shame to get rid of the Back to the Future II pic. I love that movie.
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Report post Posted November 2, 2002 I like the second one, but that pic of Molly is horrible.
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted November 2, 2002 KEEP THE BACK TO THE FUTURE PICTURE!!!!! Give us other markout moments! Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest SP-1 Report post Posted November 2, 2002 You may be on to something, Kotz and Papacita. I may make one of the banners smaller and tuck it away under a Markout pic or something. I prefer a sig that changes alot anyway. And yes. That Molly pic in there is my least favorite part of that banner. That and I hadn't realized how freakin' huge it is overall until I started using it. -SP, who much like Chris Jericho's beard, enjoys changing things as much as possible. Chunk 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2002 I like the top one more, but it would be awesome if you made a back to the future one. Id gladly use it if you didnt want to ChUnK!
Guest SP-1 Report post Posted November 2, 2002 You know, Chunk . . . that's a heck of an idea. I might take a crack at a BTTF banner. With the DVD's coming out soon (I cannot wait!), there's alot of quality shots cropping up now. -SP, who retreats back to his graphics lair . . .

Guest SP-1 Report post Posted November 2, 2002 Okay. I went with something pretty simple. It's a banner because I threw my name on it, and because I did a bit of special effects work on it. There's a ton of lighting effects I did to touch it up since the picture itself was lacking in some areas. Thoughts are appreciated. And yes, I intended for my name in the corner to be somewhat lit, too. I like it but some may not. To get an idea of how much of the lighting and F/X I'm responsible for . . . there wasn't really any of the lighting there before. It was just the train floating. The time warp in front, the streaks, the light reflections all along the train, and the lighting on Jennifer and Marty and the ground below the train is all me. I'd appreciate any thoughts on that. If you like, I'll post the before pic, too. Discuss? -SP, who likes this one. AND it's a mark out for BTTF fans. The happy ending. EDIT: I made the name stand out more from the one I initially posted here.

Guest SP-1 Report post Posted November 3, 2002 Thanks. I kinda like the idea of playing with existing pics. I guess it's the same principle of Hartfan86's awesome banners, so I gotta thank him for the overall idea. I'd have probably tried to make some horrendous amalgam of images or something. This came out okay, though. I think I'm going to do something like this with other pics for my Movie Mark Out's, play with them so I 0wn them, heh. Cool deal. -SP, who is satisfied.
