Most Overated WWE worker

Shawn didn't magically become a limited worker one day, he was the same worker for most of his career and didn't really do much to alter his style no matter where he was in his career. Shawn was Shawn, and often that was enough for him to ruin a potentially sensible match with ridiculous bumps and bone-headed work that managed to drive wrestling into the utter tripe it reached a few years after his run. Overselling and wrestling like a goof never worked for anyone else, and it didn't work for Shawn, either. Some people just misunderstood it for "carrying" and slapped ****1/2+ on every masturbatory bump-fest he had with a shitty big man.

-Ricky, who enjoys some of Michaels' work quite a bit, but would rather have his toe nails ripped off than sit through Triple H/Michaels SS '02 again.

I did sit through that match again the other day.

I'll said when the match happened that given time everyone would HAVE TO realize that it was nothing better than a hardcore match between a slightly less gay Jeff Hardy and Bradshaw.

They have to.

I'll say this much, any of the WWE women who get praise for wrestling good matches. Thats overrated at its finest. These chicks very rarely put on a watchable match (at least to me) and even have a tough time alot building a feud believably by whatever lack of means.

For example (and I'm guilty on this too)......Trish Stratus. Shes had bumps in her work where she'll really step it up, but the fact of the matter is that its not consistent and when you really think about it and compare her to real women workers (none who are in the WWE by the way), it's fucking absurd. Its just that she was really fuckin bad before she picked it up a tad. Now she's best catagorized as "watchable" as far as working a match goes.
