You and what army!?

The U.S. Army.

Ooh, that's some army.

Let it be known that I loved Family Guy, but Peter was a Homer-rip-off. Sure, any dumb, animated father of three would be classified as such, and it's not like ripping off Homer is a bad thing.

I love Family Guy. Sadly, it has yet to be released on DVD in the US. I'm still holding out that one day it will be.

Afraid to ask, but anyone here like South Park? Simpsons used to be my favourite show, and Family Guy's more recent episodes blew the new Simpsons eps away IMO. But for whatever reason, South Park to me seems to overshadow both, if only due to the fact that it's educational for the whole family, yet wrapped in some of the crudest humour you could find. Besides, where else would you learn that the rainforest is evil?

I liked South Park the first season.

But I quickly got bored with the show after that.

Yes i've been a South Park fan since the very first episode. I'm not taking anything away from the classic early episodes, but I actually think the show got better after the trend died.

Title: A Ladder to Heaven

Stan, Kyle and Cartman want Kenny back so badly, they'll try anything. They decide to build a ladder to Heaven where they expect to find Kenny and bring him back to South Park. But Kenny isn't the only one residing in Heaven; when we last checked Saddam Hussein was being detained in paradise as well. As their ladder stretches skyward the U.S. government carefully monitors the boys' progress. Will the boys find Kenny? Is Saddam stockpiling weapons of mass destruction in heaven? Stay tuned.

At 7 p.m., Football Runover segued into a "classic" episode of "The Simpsons," 7.8/12 on FOX, averaging a 9.3/15 for the hour. CBS was second with "60 Minutes," 8.8/14, while ABC aired the original made-for-TV movie "Home Alone 4" (7.0/11 average from 7 to 9 p.m.). NBC aired "Dateline NBC," and The WB brought up the rear with "Gilmore Girls: Beginnings."

The 13th annual Treehouse of Horror "Simpsons" special, 8.9/13, and season premiere of "King of the Hill," 7.0/10, were tops at 8 p.m., while NBC moved up to second place with Nick Carter on "American Dreams," 7.4/11. ABC continued with its movie and CBS aired "Becker," 7.0/11, before giving up the rest of its night to the James Bond movie "The World Is Not Enough" (6.6/10 average from 8:30 to 11 p.m.). A new episode of "Charmed" brought in a 4.2/6 for The WB.

NBC took the lead at 9 p.m. with "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," 10.2/15. CBS moved to second with its movie and ABC stayed consistent in third with "Alias," 6.2/9. FOX tumbled to fourth with the season premiere of "Malcolm in the Middle," 6.5/9, and a repeat, 5.5/8, averaging a 6.0/9 for the hour. A new episode of "Angel" finished off the night for The WB, 3.2/4.

ABC ended things in the No. 1 slot at 10 p.m. with "The Practice," 9.0/15, followed by NBC's "Boomtown," 6.8/12. CBS came in third with the conclusion of its movie.

All in all its good to see that the Simpsons still pulls in ratings, especially for the repeat of Angry Dad. I think they are supposed to put Andy Richter on at 9:30 (I think they've shelved the Grubs, last I heard..) but I don't know how ARCtU fits in at 9:30 on a sunday night..

I'd love to see what the Simpson movie will draw in on its first week.
