Guest CanadianChick Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 It's definately Hogan because not only was it just for Big Show, but it was for a few other things including Booker T able to wrestle at Rebellion. Am I missing something? What does Booker T have to do with anything?
Guest Ravenbomb Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 the only wrestler who should have anything resembling a priest/preacher gimmick is Christopher Daniels. End of story.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 They should rewrite the rules of the split and only keep the shitty wrestlers that no one cares about on one show. Guys like Angle, Eddy, Benoit, Edge, Rey, RVD, Jericho, Booker and the like should get to be on both shows... that way smarks will watch to see the good SD! wrestlers on both shows...and marks will watch to see the popular wrestlers on both shows. Of course the flaw is that the only people who would end up being deemed "worthy" would be Taker and HHH.
Guest Brian Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 How about they just trade no one and elevate someone, like Shelton Benjamin, rather than take someone SmackDown's established and hhhave him get stepped on.
Guest subliminal_animal Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 is Batistia for Big Show a good trade? It looks like Show is getting a decent push but what exactly is the plans for Batista? Big deal he is a glorified body builder who is intense, is there any substance to this character other than "muscle bound monster"? He's THE GENETIC REVOLUTION. You know, all those vignettes are making me think there's no way Steiner's ending up on Raw... Ron Simmons should've retired already. He's not going to go anywhere, so he shouldn't drag D-Von down with him. Ron Simmons is badass cool, mofo. And I'm still convinced the Reverend gimmick would have worked had they handled it correctly. From a bunch of hosue show reports a while back, most of them had D-Von getting the second or third most heat of anybody on the card. I don't remember any of this ever coming across on TV, though. I would send Rikishi, Dawn Marie & Torrie Wilson. All three don't fit in on Smackdown. Rikishi doesn't fit anywhere. Ha. Plus, if that happened, Raw got screwed on that in the storyline sense. Big Show beat Rikishi in two minutes. Two girls doesn't make it even, because Big Show could beat them in 20 seconds, and that's in a handicap match. Albert since he sucks and RAW sucks. Albert is actually growing on me. I never noticed it before, but he's a really decent promo guy and can draw soem good heat when he gets the chance.

Guest Lord of The Curry Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 I'd keep Cena on Smackdown if they really want to develop his character, which they seem to be doing. I see a certain *it* factor with Cena, the kind of cocky young heel charisma that The Rock had in his early days, he just needs time to develop and being squashed by Kane or HHH on RAW isn't going to help him out much. Stick him with one of the Smackdown Six and see how he fares. Having said that, RAW is the "gimmick" show, the place where you see Burned Freaks, Gay Stylists and T and A. Keep the wrestlers on Smackdown, for more then one reasons: 1. Heyman. The guy has proven time and time again that he knows how to book WRESTLING matches and WRESTLING feuds, not the Brian Gerwertz sports entertainment bullshit. 2. Cole and Tazz. Laugh all you want, but the simple truth is that Cole and Tazz have surpassed Lawler and Ross in every aspect of commentary. They do colour, point out psychology, history, call moves correctly and generally seem to have fun doing their jobs. JR and Lawler wouldn't be able to keep up with the pace of guys like Mysterio or Eddy. For example. * Rey Mysterio does a tope con hilo to the outside onto Eddy Guerrero. Cole: Rey's flying here on Smackdown!! Tazz: Nice tope con hilo there by Rey, showing a little bit of his Lucha Libre skills and taking it to the air on Latino Heat Eddy Guerrero. JR: Nice high impact maneuver there. King: Oh JR, I'm so excited, tonight we get Stacy vs Trish in a thong contest!! Send Rikishi, Wilson and Dawn Marie to RAW. Get rid of all T and A from Smackdown and send their resident gimmick wrestler where he belongs.
Guest razazteca Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 again why is Batista on Raw? Is this "new arrival" only on the show to promote the WWE brand of Creatine and other protein shakes? At least Steiner has some one liners and an established gimmick what does Batista have to offer Raw?
