Man Sues After Finding Girl Not His Daughter

Recommended Posts

Guest MrRant
MELBOURNE (Reuters) - An Australian man is suing his former partner to recover more than $10,000 he spent on a little girl, for things such as presents, zoo trips and meals, after discovering she was not his daughter, a newspaper said on Friday.

"I want it all back -- every cent for every toy, every blanket, every bit of food," the man, who can't be identified for legal reasons, said.

"I wouldn't have spent all that money had I known five years ago she wasn't my kid," he was quoted saying by the Herald-Sun.

The claims include take-away McDonald's food over five years, four visits to an amusement park, three Barbie dolls, a Pooh Bear play tent, a day of skating, and child support payments.

The Herald-Sun said the man took the action after DNA tests found the girl was not his daughter.

The girl's mother said she was willing to repay the child support payments but that she should not have to pay back anything else.

"She had a good time with him that's the main thing," she was quoted as saying. "I don't think he should carry on too much about it. He should treat it like doing something nice with a friend."

I feel in a way he should get his money but at the same time it is pretty anal.

Pay back the child support and the major expenditures, but not every little thing. That's way too subject to what he "remembers" and just plain anal.

But still, bitches be trippin'.

He should absolutely get back every cent he paid, plus interest. Considering he spent the money in good faith, on the presumption the child was his, he should be compensated for his partner's bald-faced lies. Women who do this are despicable, and they should be treated like such in court.

To paraphrase Chris Rock: "A man's lie is, 'I was at Ronny's house.' A woman's lie is, 'It's your baby.'"

Bitches be trippin', indeed.

In the U.S. I've seen stories of guys who STILL had to pay child support even AFTER it was proven via DNA that the kid wasn't theirs.

Damny lawyers...

The guy featured was some poor sap from Texas who looked beaten up by life. He was even on O'Reilly's show, and O'Reilly said (I'm paraphrasing) "you got screwed and there's nothing you can do about it."

I've also seen two other news stories of "dad's" in the same boat. The one story talked about pending legislation in CA that would make men who prove via DNA that they aren't the father to a kid free from paying child support. Of course, this story also had some child-welfare "expert" (Read: Feminazi bitch) say that the legislation shouldn't pass becasue it's not fair to the child. I don't think I need to make my opinion known on this matter any more.

"What about the girl's *actual* father?"

Hell, they probably don't know who the actual father is.

I think incidents such as these such be grounds for one of the TV networks to create a reality-TV version of "My Two Dads."

I second that. I would have one white-collar dude (husband) and one hick with a mullet and a pickup truck (cheater). And nobody knows who the real father is! Hilarity ensues!

Then in the end it turns out it WAS the husband and the whole concept of the show is rendered pointless. It's a SWOIVE~!

I third the keeping of the Paul Reiser off of the TV. That guy has to be the most annoying actor I've ever seen.

And if I were doing a My Two Dads thing, I'd have one guy be kind of a quiet, nice, genius with a high paying job as a computer guy for a big buisness, and the other guy be Dennis Hoppper

I'd say Jon Lovitz and Martin Short both have Reiser beat in that category. Of course, the argument can be made that at least they're intentionally irritating.

Alright, I can see getting the money back for anything important, and anything that was expensive. But, I wouldn't make a big deal if you bought say a 5 cent candy for the girl, or even supper from a fast-food restaurant. Basically, anything that can be returned, the guy should get the money for.

This is the sort of thing that makes you believe women should be required to have an ovulation license.

That WOMEN should have a license? Women should have a license to let their bodies go about the natural way of things? Yeah, if either gender should have a license, it would be men, to keep their dick in their pants.

I would go for COUPLES having licenses.
