Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 - Rock: He is not a great worker by any means Actually, he is. But I agree, he is underated.
Guest Angle-plex Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Test is like Luger... The Potential is there, but it doesn't look like he will ever get close to living up to it. Test's biggest problem is that he has poor mic skills and ZERO charisma to go with his mediocre ability. WHAT?! You obviously didn't see his skit last week with Stacy. He was oozing with charisma with lines like "Testicles?" and "Yeah?".
Guest El Satanico Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Oh yeah i forgot about that showcase of amazing charisma.

He was oozing with charisma with lines like "Testicles?" and "Yeah?". You have to admit, it was adorable when he "wanted to say hi to all his Testicles out there!" That kind of contradicts my earlier point, but I'll chalk it up to Test improving. He needs braces.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Test's acting in that segment was porn level of bad.
Guest Banky Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Test's acting in that segment was porn level of bad. No porn stars huff and puff when something is said to them. They don't scrunch their face up and totally overact a simple skit. Please please don't disgrace pron stars by comparing their acting to Tests....and this is coming from a guy who doesn't even like porn.
Guest Brian Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 If you compare the match to other brawls that took place in the past for the WWE, like Mind Games, it's not going to compare. And if you look at matches from that year, Regal/Benoit pretty much takes the cake. And if you look at things, Triple H surprised alot more people with the Last Man Satnding and the Iron Man than he did with that match. Who's number one Tim? I'm guessing Guerrero, but Benoit number four? Mysterio at five sounds fine.
Guest Tim Cooke Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 No, Rock is not a "good" worker but he is game and brings what he has to the table, for which I credit him. Benoit is 1, Angle is 2, Noble 3, Eddy 4. Eddy would easily be 2 if he stopped trying to punch so fast and just relax a little bit. BTW, off topic, I think I have a solution to the Cibernetico match for ya Brian. I'll email you tommorow if it comes through. Tim
Guest Brian Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Thanks Tim. I actually like the way Eddie brawls. Some of it is a bit sloppy. After watching SmackDown again I think Eddie deserves to be ahead of Kurt.
Guest Tim Cooke Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Eddy knows how to work a match better but his punches are just annoying me right now. But lord knows I do love Eddy. As long as they keep on putting tag matches on like No Mercy and Rebellion, I won't complain. Every WEEEEEEEEEEE wrestler should only work tag matches before they do singles stuff. Tim
Guest godthedog Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Who's Jewish Thunder Driver?? goldberg, i believe.
Guest Jonathan Barber Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Al Snow, Billy Gunn, Chavo Guerrero (Jr.), Christian, Crash Holly, D'Lo Brown, D-Von Dudley, Funaki, Hardcore Holly, Jamie Knoble, Aldo Mo--errr...Justin Credible, Matt Hardy, Perry Saturn, and Val Venis.
Guest BaldFish Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 You have to admit, it was adorable when he "wanted to say hi to all his Testicles out there!" That kind of contradicts my earlier point, but I'll chalk it up to Test improving. He needs braces. I think he actually sold that very well--he hates the gimmick, but at least he's fucking Stacey.
Guest cynicalprofit Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 His name is RAVEN and he has already proven he can draw, work, and cut promos. He could be carrying HHH to *** main events, while not magical ****+ level, it would be shit loads better then the Kane stuff. Hell I could acutally see the necro thing with Raven possibly working if teh did a little adjusting to it, like have HHH claim because Raven is from the darkside, this is what he does, instant feud right there, HHH calls raven a necro, you attack Raven's life style, how simple is that. Raven could be leading a heel stable easy with himself, and about any 3 other guys. Randomly chosen, Orton, Kidman, Cena, or how about Val, Big Show, Tajiri, how about steven richards. Raven's proven this idea works, and proven he can do it, yet the WWF ignore it constantly. Did Vince just not watch ECW and WWF?
Guest AnnieEclectic Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 This is much harder. I'll say Tommy Dreamer because he always seems to entertain me somehow. Speak the Truth, my friend. Dreamer got a new vid and music, and I want those pants. In my size of course. -Annie
Guest Mole Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 I really enjoy Edge, but I don't see him as being underrated anymore. I believe Batista has MAJOR potential, he has great presence in the ring, along with charisma.
Guest Tim Cooke Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Raven is a proven draw? Maybe in some fantasy land. Tim
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 I actually like most Henry matches The Chocolate Moose is an awesome move. Plus he has lightyears of charisma I fear for your mental well-being. Mark Henry *is* as bad as people say, if not worse. I'll agree the Chocolate Moose is a neat move, but I'm just waiting for him to hurt his opponent and/or himself when doing it. Under-rated: Brock Chuck Palumbo (Chuck & Billy were a good team)
Guest Goodear Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Chuck Palumbo (Chuck & Billy were a good team) Yes, good call, Spiff. Palumbo has steadily become a much better worker during the Billy & Chuck tag team era and is steadily improving as a singles. He's gotten a lot better at knowing when to do his stuff, even if he's doing the same basic moves every time out.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Chuck Palumbo (Chuck & Billy were a good team) Yes, good call, Spiff. Palumbo has steadily become a much better worker during the Billy & Chuck tag team era and is steadily improving as a singles. He's gotten a lot better at knowing when to do his stuff, even if he's doing the same basic moves every time out. The Chuck/Brock match from a few weeks ago was a pretty good match, too. A couple neat spots, some good brawling, good pace. Plus, Chuck throws one of the better-looking punches in the fed.
Guest Anglesault Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 The Chuck/Brock match from a few weeks ago was a pretty good match, too. The boring one? Plus, Chuck throws one of the better-looking punches in the fed. The Discus punch?
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 It wasn't boring. Granted, it wasn't Eddy/Angle/Benoit exciting, but it wasn't on the level of a Big Show/Mark Henry match. "Perfectly acceptable wrestling" as Keith like to say. I found it entertaining. Chuck's regular punches look good.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Billy Gunn is underrated, Not as a Singles Wrestler, but as a Tag Wrestler. I'll probably be hunted down and shot for this, But Triple H is underrated on this board. Hey, I hate the bastard as much as anyone, but sometimes he pulls out some decent matches and we over look it. I'm not saying he deserves to be the Main focus on the Show or the Champion, but he doesn;t deserve to be jobbed out on Heat either. Same with Flair. Flair still goes pretty damn good for his age.
Guest Anglesault Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 It wasn't boring. I wasn't entertained. Granted, it wasn't Eddy/Angle/Benoit exciting, but it wasn't on the level of a Big Show/Mark Henry match. You see, there's my crazy mindset again. He gets pushed over them, I expect him to be a better performer than them. Everything is a letdown.
Guest Anglesault Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Yeah. Anyway. Goldust is also way under rated.
Guest cynicalprofit Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Raven is a proven draw? Raven vs Tommy Dreamer is what put ecw on the map.
