XPW MONDAY NIGHTMARE TV REPORT

XPW Monday Nightmare Episode #10

1/4/02 on WGTW Channel 48 out of Burlington/Philadelphia, PA

 

 

Kris Kloss runs down this week's show. He said they were promised a press conference by Shane Douglas but he isn't there yet. We will also see Mexico's Most Wanted against a mystery tag team, and Kaos against Danny Doring!

 

XPW runs a few promos for some videos and merchandise including 2003 autographed calendars, hats, shirts, and much more!

 

Segment #1- Shane Douglas and Lizzy Borden are in L.A. after just getting back from London. Shane is anxious to get back home to Pittsburgh.

 

Segment #2- (From XPW Fallout 10/5/02)- XPW Tag Team Champions Mexico's Most Wanted (Damien 666 & Halloween) vs. a mystery tag team. Halloween grabs the mic and starts a "lucha libre" chant. He says they do not know who they are gonna wrestle tonight. They then do their Midnight Express-esque introductions of each other. Halloween then takes the mic back and calls out anyone from the back. They are then attacked from behind by two men with white masks. They double team Damien 666 and hit him with a clothesline german suplex double team maneuver. They follow that up with the Hart Attack from the Hart Foundation's repetoire. Damien gains control and hits the masked men with a double spear. Halloween press slams one of the men and drops him. Mexico's Most Wanted then hit one of the men with a double team power bomb. Damien hits a Martinette (spelling?) for a 2 count. Damien gets whipped into the ropes but hits a springboard dropkick and tags in Halloween. Damien and Halloween then double team one of the men and crotch him on the ring post. They go to the outside where the other man hits a flying body press to the outside on to them. Damien gets hit with a spinning ghetto blaster for a 2 count. Unknown man #1 locks in an armbar on Damien 666 but Halloween comes in and kicks him in the head .... twice. Unknown Man #2 then comes in and locks in a double leg scissors. Halloween then locks in a leg lock connecting all 4 men! Nice little sequence. The mystery team then double teams Damien 666 and back body drop him. Damien 666 then shoulder blocks unkown man #2 and they get him in the Montezuma's Revenge for the pinfall (awesome finisher). The mystery team then takes the tag belts and attack Mexico's Most Wanted and handcuff them to the ring. Atlas Security run in and try and hold off the mystery team and save Mexico's Most Wanted. One of the mystery men grabs the mics and says "Smokey Carmichael says you just got knocked the f out!" leading Kris Kloss to believe they are 2 new members of The New Panthers.

 

Segment #3- "I summon thee. I summon thee! I summon thee! I summon thee! Doomhammer! body bags for everyone! Stay tuned" ........ the mysterious Doomhammer promo is played again!

 

Segment #4- (From XPW Fallout 10/5/02)- XPW TV Champion Kaos (with G.Q. Money and Veronica Caine) vs. Danny Doring! G.Q. Money gets the mic and rips the crowd and the East Coast. Kaos stomps away on Doring in the corner and the bell rings. Doring gains control and tosses Kaos over the top rope to the outside. Doring dives from the top to the outside taking out Kaos and Money. Doring then tosses Kaos back into the ring. Doring backs Kaos into the corner and begins to chop him. Doring gives Kaos a few nipple twists. Veronica Caine jumps up on the apron. Kaos charges Doring but Doring ducks and pulls down the top rope causing Kaos to fall to the outside. Kaos and Doring fight on the outside and exchange chair shots. Kaos gains control in the ring and stomps on Doring before hitting a beautiful split legged moonsault for a 2 count. Doring gets control back again and hits a reverse DDT. He goes for a leg drop off the top rope but misses. Kaos hits an elevated neckbreaker. G.Q. Money comes in and starts chopping Doring, but Doring reverses it and chops Money in the corner. Kaos fights off Doring and whips him into the corner. Kaos hits a 450 splash from the top but does not go for the cover. Kaos puts Doring on the top rope and goes for the tree of woe, but Doring catches him and gives him a stunner. Doring knocks out G.Q. Money with a heal kick. Veronica Caine comes in and flirts with Doring. Doring gives Caine an arm wringer but Caine fights back and does a few moves of her own sending Doring to the outside. Kaos tosses G.Q. Money to the outside on to Doring but overshoots Doring causing G.Q. Money to hit the guardrail neck first. Sick looking spot. Doring and Kaos both are in the ring now exchanging punches. Doring hits Kaos with the title belt and then whips him into the corner. Doring spins Kaos around causing Kaos to kick the ref sending him down. Doring goes for a pin, but no ref. Kaos hits a Gonzo Bomb on Doring and only gets a 2 count. G.Q. Money was already in the ring with the belt thinking that was the finish. Doring starts to "Hulk up". They exchange chops. Doring goes for his finisher twice only to be countered. Kaos goes for a powebomb but Doring counters that and hits an inverted stunner for the three! The crowd erupts as Danny Doring is the new XPW TV Champion!!!! G.Q. Money and Veronica Caine storm in. Money grabs the belt. "Danny Doring, you stupid east coast f! As Shane Douglas made it clear, all matches from this point on, must have contracts! And as you rushed to sign this contract, you missed that it says this is a non title match! You can't outsmart me! I am from Hollywood! You are a piece of garbage and smell as bad as the city in Jersey you come from. I will sue you Danny Doring if you touch me!!" Doring takes the mic "Hey you wannabe clockwork orange mutherf'er! Let me show you what I think of your contract! I came into XPW and I said it was gonna be a hostile takeover, and by beating you, I am the rightful #1 contender! We don't have to wait until the next show! Let's do it right now in front of all these people! Everybody here saw me win that match!"

 

Segment #5- Kaos, G.Q. Money, and Veronica Caine do a promo insulting Danny Doring for not reading the fine print and rushing into a match with Kaos.

 

Segment #6- Danny Doring does a promo. He tells The Enterprise they learned a lesson tonight. He said maybe he didn't care about reading the fine print just to get his hands on Kaos. He said Kaos's undisputed title reign is now disputed! Doring says he is now the #1 contender for Kaos's disputed title! He says they can't sue him because he doesn't have shi% (because of who he worked for before!).

 

Segment #7- Kris Kloss is in an office watching XPW on TV. Shane Douglas and Lizzy Borden walk in. They say they were stuck on a plane for 3 1/2 hours. Shane demands Kloss to show him what he was laughing at. Kloss presses play and Chris Candido is shown on the TV ripping Shane Douglas. Douglas makes him turn off the TV. Shane says that Candido does not have any more opportunities in XPW. He said he shouldn't get any more title shots. Shane said he is a nice guy though and will give Candido one last stinking shot. But when he destroys him, there will be no more Chris Candido in XPW! Shane tells Kloss to call Candido and tell him that the Franchise is giving him one last shot, but when he breaks his neck, it is on Kris, because he set them up.

 

NOTES: XPW returns to Viking Hall on Saturday night, November 16th, with Exit Sandman! XPW TV Champion Kaos vs. Danny Doring; XPW Deathmatch Champion Altar Boy Luke vs. Supreme vs. The Hardcore Homo Angel; XPW Heavyweight Champion Shane Douglas vs. Chris Candido....XPW also has a new video and DVD distribution deal and are releasing many new shows per week. Hopefully I will be able to check some of these out sometime.

You know, that actually sounds like a really good show. XPW sounds like they've improved by leaps and bounds in terms of in-ring quality.

 

But I just can't support these guys because of their ownership. I refuse to give money to a borderline-snuff porn owner who put a mafia hit on one of my favorite indy workers.

Yeah, I tend to agree. I am a big supporter of XPW, but I always hesitate for a moment when I'm at the buying line at F.Y.E. and purchasing their tapes. I suddenly realize that the money (or at least part of it) will be going to a porn company.

 

It actually seems, though, that XPW is devoting a lot of their resources and money to the wrestling, and not the porn side, of their conglomerate. They used to not give a damn about XPW, but they've really began making it their number one priority, which is a good thing. Their product is fine, it's just the ownership that sucks about them.

 

BTW, you never know who attacked Messiah. For all we know, it could've been some fans jealous that he was banging both Lizzy Borden and Kristi Myst. Obviously, we're all jealous of him, but some fans may've just gone crazy about it or something.

 

Or two homeless guys without an education could've gone in there wanting to kill just a random person and found Welch.

 

Then again, it probably was Black. LOL.

I dont know much about messiah, so why did he have a mafia attack on him? What did he do to warrant that happening?

It's widely assumed, without any hard evidence, that Rob Black hired people to perform the attack. Those who believe that Black is responsible point to the fact that Messiah was sleeping with Black's wife, Lizzy Borden.

 

This is supported by the fact that they apparently tried to cut off his penis first, then settled for cutting off his thumb and taking it with them. Again, in the interest of fairness, I haven't seen any hard confirmation of this.

 

I haven't heard the promo, but apparently, Messiah cut a promo in which he implied heavily but did not come out and SAY that Black was responsible.

Messiah's done a couple shoots since then. His in-ring one after UFOE, a couple of sit-down ones with Robbie Merino and Gary Yap, owner of EPIC.

 

Black's reputation hasn't helped him any, as well as his actions since the attack. Reportedly, Extreme Associates shut down productions the day America's Most Wanted was to come by and interview about the Messiah assault.

Actually, a lot of people didn't support XPW beforehand simply due to its garbage wrestling and ties to Extreme Associates, but that's neither here nor there.

messiah's shoots about the whole thing were just said by him to stur up controversy. see why he never actually SAID that Rob Black did it, he just tried to imply it in the shoots to get people pissed off at black. why would messiah not just come out and say that it was black if it actually were him? even on AOW messiah didn't say it was him but kinda pointer fingers so people would be mad at black, but it really didnt work because now black is completely off camera with xpw and just supplies the $ for shane douglas to do whatever he wants with the company, and it is working because xpw has gotten a lot better

Honestly I don't believe that Black had anything to do with the Messiah attack. I don't think that Black would try something so risky anyway because that is series jailtime if he were to get caught.

Why did they settle for his thumb? If the guys were mafia, surely they would have been able to get the job done that they were sent to do.

Yes, Messiah put up a fight. On the America's Most Wanted episode that the story was aired on, Messiah said that he was playing video games when two guys just walked in. He figured they were there with his roommate, and said hey. They said hey back. Then, in the reflection of the TV, he saw them lock the door, and that's when he ran and tryed to get away. They grabbed him and used gardening shears to cut off his thumb. However, he succeeded in fighting away and ran to the door, but was unable to undo the lock with no thumb. They caught up to him and apparently tried to go for his penis with the gardening shears, but he again made a lot of commotion, which is probably the reason that they immediately then got the heck out of there.

Sounds like a pretty horredous ordeal allround. Why didnt he just prosecute them.

 

Sure he was in the wrong for sleeping with Black's wife, but they cut his damn thumb off!

They haven't found them yet, despite the fact that they have concept sketches of the suspects, and supposedly Messiah got the license plate of the car.

yeah, i did mean the actual attackers themselves, rather than black. Am i right in thinking that they probably arn't putting 100% in to finding the guys that did it?
