Why don't they just use Lillian as National Anthem chick and Backstage interview and bring Fink back or use someone else... Don't say that. We might get Michael Buffer back for the whole show. Can you imagine a whole show of his long-winded introductions? Though...I always did think they should bring him in for WrestleMania.

Buffer and his stupid catchphrase make me think of things like "Bret Clarke", Hogan's lame wCw main events, and those freakshow boxing matches Howard Stern promoted.

It's happened before. WM 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 10...all those had different people introducing the Main Event. Of course they were all celebrities...

I don't recall Goldberg getting a standing ovation after his first match on WCW. Well true...but they were trying to build Goldberg up as a heel, IIRC. Plus, Goldberg was fighting Hugh Morrus in his first WCW match, so interest was lost quickly right there.

It's just frustrating knowing that they could be doing things better, yet don't seem to have a grasp on how. Mainly it was just me bitching and moaning. Guilty as charged And I just realized... Batista's teasers used the phrase "The Genetic Revolution". Didn't Steiner call himself the "Genetic Freak" or something along those lines? Sheesh, just what we need... another point of comparison to bury him further. As long as neither of them refers to themselves as a "Genetic Jackhamer"...
