I don't blame Hogan for not doing this. As stated above he already put over Brock about as well as you can put someone over. Why do it again when the Undertaker only did it once, Stone Cold never did it, and HHH never did it.

As stated before, that's not the real story. Hogan was asked to come back, and job to Lesnar at SS2002. He wanted to go over to get his heat back. Vince isn't THAT stupid.

Hogan has already worked all his contractually obligated dates and has even worked extra dates on a handshake deal with Vince McMahon.

I thought that Hogan, along with Nash and Hall, had signed a two year contract at the start of the year when they were brought in as the nWo.

They had, but Hogan was only obligated to make so many appearances and I think he's exceeded that; either that or McMahon wants to wait to bring him in because he has only a handful of appearances left and he wants to get the most of them.

How does saving Benoit for a "more thought out program (with Lesnar)down the line" equate to Chris being sacrificed ?

 

The Big Show is being tossed into a month long nothing feud to be fed to Brock, HE's being sacrificed.

 

A heel Benoit/Face Brock feud would make for a nice in to Angle/Lesnar at Wrestlemania.
