My Fantasy NBA team

This is my first year doing fantasy NBA. This is my roster at this point in the season.

 

I traded Allen Iverson, a few good but injuried players (in the 4 month range) and some benchwarmers for Brand and Batteir.

 

The league has 8 teams with 24 players on each.

Another guy in the league is hurting pretty bad for PGs right now so I'll probably try and trade for a F or C. What would your opinions be of such a move?

get rid of Kenny Anderson and Shane Battier for a good Center

To be honest, for an 8 team league you don't have many star players.

 

You definitely need more rebounders, so trade some of them PGs and SFs.

 

If you get any worthwhile center trading Anderson & Battier away... you're in a dumbass league.

No one seems to have an over abundance of start players actually.

 

My team at this point has the greatest depth. I thought about keeping Iverson but he was just too much of a shot to the shooting %.

 

I have the most depth at guard positions. Everyone seems to be hurting for them except me. So hopefully I can shop around.

It's a good team, but you seem to have a lot of totally worthless players (Glen Rice, Kenny Anderson, Hoiberg, Walker, etc.)

 

so watch out for free agents

Trust me I had a lot worse. The draft just really gave me crap. I got Hill out of free agency which was a steal if he stays healthy. A lot of the crap I'm trying to trade away.

Mad Dog, you got Grant Hill out of the FA pool? Damn, that really is a steal if he does stay healthy this year.

 

All four fantasy basketball leagues I joined, someone drafted him in the mid-rounds.

Agent Bond get rid of Shane Battier and replace him with Corey Maggette.

 

Drop Battier & Ardvydas for Tyrone Hill, Malik Rose, Charlie Ward

I just picked up Tyrone Hill from the waiver wire, just dropped Sabonis for him.

 

Malik Rose was picked up off of waivers and Ward is still out there.

 

As for Battier, hmmm, I'll see what I can do with him.

 

Should I keep Joe Smith and wait for him to get back from injury or should I dump him off?

is Joe Smith on IL? if so put him on IL then you can pick up a FA, but when Smith get healthy you will have to drop somebody.

Actually, I've got Joe Smith on IL. I also have Lamar Odom who is on IL, but, I can't put him on IL because there is only one spot for that, which kinda sucks, so, I've let him stay. He should be back within a month or so, shouldn't he?

 

I've got this IL thing going on in all four fantasy basketball leagues I'm in. (Including the Smart Marks league)
