Guest cynicalprofit Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 WOW a WWF guy at the #1 &2 spot.
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! YES YES FUCKIN FUCK YES!!!! EDDY! EDDY! Ya'll suckas KNOW that he deserves it! Don't deny! DO NOT DENY ~! Benoit as a #2 pick is good shit, though I'm surprised he got that high after only 5 months back from injury. Ah well, it's Benoit, no more explanation is needed.
Guest Ram Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 Go RVD! Only 487 more till numero uno!
Guest razazteca Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 Santo ahead of Shocker? and Blue Panther so high? AJ Styles at 163? well at least a Rudo is #1
Guest DEAN RASMUSSEN Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 Santo ahead of Shocker? and Blue Panther so high? AJ Styles at 163? well at least a Rudo is #1 Shocker didn't have any singles matches this go round so he didn't really get an opportunity to go for the top 10- which is what he needs to do get there. Santo is Santo so he maintains top ten status by just showing up for matches. Rey bucanero was god-like this go round. AJ Styles is quite the bone of contention at the DVDVR home office. DEAN.
Guest Bricks Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 I thought Brock Lesnar was Top 50 material. But that's okay, the guy has a long career ahead of him for even more improvement. As for now, I shall bow down to the great Eduardo Guerrero.
Guest DEAN RASMUSSEN Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 Go RVD! Only 487 more till numero uno! And there was one of us in the DVDVR 500 War Room that actually LIKED the Benoit vs RVD match where RVD couldn't sell his shoulder to save his soul. DEAN.
Guest DEAN RASMUSSEN Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 I thought Brock Lesnar was Top 50 material. But that's okay, the guy has a long career ahead of him for even more improvement. As for now, I shall bow down to the great Eduardo Guerrero. Lesnar delivered the good like a mutha in the 6 months- especially for a guy who has been wrestling for less than 3 years. 70s is a good place to be at this point. DEAN.
Guest razazteca Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 but Shocker is 1000% Guapo Los Nuevo Guapos will be the tag team of 2002-2003, Shocker & Mascara Magica did have some good matches against gdi and with the potential of #54 ZUMBIDO or Ricky Marvin joining, the team shall become the premier Trio of CMLL. Zumbido is already blond and has the greatest Mullet of all in Mexico, just give him the NWA Lightweight Title already.
Guest Bricks Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 Anyways, best name for v7.0 is #437 "Elax the Exploited Child"
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 Sabu beat him out by like a hundred spots. Somewhere deep inside this comforts me.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 368) Sabu 369) Ric Flair I think that was done on purpose.
Guest deadbeater Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 I agree about Eddie G. But man, talking about inversing PWI 500! RVD STILL that low? And what's down with the Truth? Also, what about the women? Are any Americans wrestling in America cracking the top 40 this time?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 I think Truth got a faorable ranking from them when you consider where Jarrett is behind him. Funnily, the thing that bothers me the most on the list is that Jimmy yang didn't crack the top 200. LIES!!!!!

The funny thing Dean, is that before you did the Crossface where you proclaimed that Rock-Brock was a motyc, i didn't care for brock. yeah he had a cool finisher but when was that ever a factor? now, i *gasp* actually look forward to the man's matches and he is the first person since rvd to get a good match out of the undertaker. plus, he did it twice!!! but the question i have is this... if i am starting to mark out for brock, is my smarkdom growing or regressing?
Guest DEAN RASMUSSEN Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 Anyways, best name for v7.0 is #437 "Elax the Exploited Child" Angel the Hardcore Homosexual was only available in highlight form so we couldn't put him on. X no.2 did make it on. X no 3 through 5 will have to get some matches under their belts. DEAN.
Guest DEAN RASMUSSEN Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 I agree about Eddie G. DR: Takayama would have been number 1 if he hadn't fried his shoulder vs Misawa. He was a MONSTER this time period. Eddy was Godlike and was the consensus #1 until we got all the New Japan in. But man, talking about inversing PWI 500! RVD STILL that low? DR: Man, RVD is HORRENDOUS. Don't get me started. And what's down with the Truth? DR: The Hermie Sadler Miracle Match wasn't enough to combat the subpar matches he turned in afterwards- ringwise anyway. Also, what about the women? Are any Americans wrestling in America cracking the top 40 this time? DVDVR Joshi 100 is updated again on February first. I'm thinking that the Ladies Of Finlay will permeate it pretty well. DEAN.
Guest DEAN RASMUSSEN Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 I think Truth got a faorable ranking from them when you consider where Jarrett is behind him. Funnily, the thing that bothers me the most on the list is that Jimmy yang didn't crack the top 200. LIES!!!!! Jimmy Yang plummeted a bit after blowing everything in the AMAZINGLY disappointing match with Kaz Hayashi in All Japan. We were probably a little harsh on the young man because he looked good in most other things he was in but the Hayashi match was the last thing we saw before the list went out. DEAN.

Brock rules. Nothing wrong with digging a guy who makes guys one third his size look good as well as carry some of the most lumbering lummoxes in the WWE to watchable matches. DEAN.
Guest Ace309 Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 SQUABBLING FOLLOWS I'm a bit disappointed to see Togo as low as he is. </TOGO MARK> As much as I hate him, I'm VERY surprised not to see Jody Fleisch on the top 500. I would have pegged him above the work Rikishi's been doing lately, anyway. Christ, Bunkhouse Buck is still active? And putting Red above Hurricane (who I assume is Hurricane Helms) makes the baby Jesus cry. I can't stand Red's soft highspots and lack of any selling between "off" and "convulsing." Please, please, please point me to something to prove me wrong.
Guest DEAN RASMUSSEN Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 SQUABBLING FOLLOWS I'm a bit disappointed to see Togo as low as he is. </TOGO MARK> DR: #12 in the world isn't low. He was fabulous the last six months. As much as I hate him, I'm VERY surprised not to see Jody Fleisch on the top 500. I would have pegged him above the work Rikishi's been doing lately, anyway. DR: Fleish is 174. Christ, Bunkhouse Buck is still active? DR: George south runs a promotion in North Carolina and we got the tape THURSDAY. And putting Red above Hurricane (who I assume is Hurricane Helms) makes the baby Jesus cry. I can't stand Red's soft highspots and lack of any selling between "off" and "convulsing." Please, please, please point me to something to prove me wrong. DR: His match vs Low-Ki and the TNA stuff supposedly did it for him. I don't go in for Red and didn't see any of his matches and left it up to Phil, Phil, Pete, Ray and Tom to rank him. DEAN.
Guest Ace309 Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 So he is. Damn him for spelling his name differently than I do.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 Dean: when Joshi comes out, you aren't gonna put Dawn Marie on there again, are you?
Guest Jonathan Barber Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 I greatly disagree. You rank Mitch Page, but fail to rank M-Dogg 20, Josh Prohibition, Kaos, etc.? RVD, Flair, and others are FAR too low. RVD in the 400's?! He's on fucking TV! Half of the guys listed aren't even on TV!
Guest Ace309 Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 RVD, Flair, and others are FAR too low. RVD in the 400's?! He's on fucking TV! Half of the guys listed aren't even on TV! You make a compelling argument for... wait, never mind. Being on TV is hardly an indication that you're any good, especially with the toned-down WWE Style™. No, I'd rather take issue with Spike Dudley's last six months of work being better than... well, anyone, really. I don't recall the him doing much besides bump... bump... DUDLEY DOG BAH GAWD!!!!! And Flair's been a sagging hefty bag full of meat lately. Maybe he's a little low, but he hasn't worked very well at all in the past 6.
Guest AnnieEclectic Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 RVD is too low. I know where y'all are coming from with his low selling ability and average psych, but he's entertaining, has massive skills that he uses... I'd be surprised to see him below at least 300. 488 is really freaking low. Spike Dudley, WAY too high. I'd be happy putting spike where Flair is, Flair where RVD is, and RVD at 132 -Annie
Guest J*ingus Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 368) Sabu 369) Ric Flair I think that was done on purpose. Of course it was. Remember when they had Keiji Mutoh one space below Ian Rotten? Heh.
Guest Ace309 Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 Speaking of good old #51.... lol Is this some extended in-joke?
