Guest Last Warrior Report post Posted November 11, 2002 I was playing promotion wars and they have a wrestler on there called Al Magz who is the absolute worst wrestler in the world. I was just wondering if he was a real wrestler, and if so has anybody seen him or know anything about him and is this rating justified? Any info would be great. Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted November 11, 2002 I'd imagine that that's just personal between the creator and the guy. The guy who made the game is from the U.K., so he's probably a jobber over there. He's numbers are something like 10 and 9 right? Stupid that the guy bothered to make him, but lefy out real talent you'd like to use. Has PW2 ever come out?
Chunk 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2002 How does promotion wars compare to EWR? Ive played EWR, and i really like it, but ive never tried PW.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted November 11, 2002 Like compairing the Atari to the NES. PW came first, but EWR has improved much over PW. It's too easy to build guys up in PW, and you can only have about 5 matches on a card, gets boring quick. Promotion Wars 2 was suppose to be the shit...also suppose to have come out in the summer of 2001. But the WWF/WCW deal messed that all up.
Chunk 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2002 I'll stick with EWR then. I know this isnt the correct thread for it really, but has anyone found it hard to satisfy the crowd in EWR? They always bring my overall rating down, even though the match could be really good.
Guest Last Warrior Report post Posted November 12, 2002 For me, EWR just has too much detail. In a game like that I want to pick it up and play it for an hour or so and come back to it every now and then. You cant do that with EWR but can with PW.
