Guest Brian Report post Posted November 13, 2002 New BattleArts has supposedly been the way to go. I hear Ishikawa is turning the Yakuza into little marks because of his uber-violence, and turning their wives heads. Quite a feat.

Guest El Satanico Report post Posted November 13, 2002 I hope the WWe goes out business just because they don't deserve all the talent that they now have. The ONLY reasons why i still give a damn about WWe is the great talent they have. Too bad that they consistently misuse this good talent. As far as the "but the Indies lack talent" argument. If WWe did go out of business all of the talented guys who they have misused would go to increase the talent of the Indies that can afford them. So you'd have the ex WWe talent spread out amongst a few Indy feds. As far as the "Indies are mainly spotfests" argument. Which would you rather have. The good WWe talent mixed with Hosses or the good WWe talent mixed with quick paced spot artists. At least the spot fest guys can be carried to a good match easily unlike the hosses. Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted November 13, 2002 but satanico, the truth of the matter is that many of the indy guys (lowki, am. dragon, daniels, etc. ) aren't just spot artists and don't lack talent. many of them just lack size. that is really the only factor i can see holding several of them back. for the scenarios you drew up, i agree with everything you said. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted November 13, 2002 I wasn't personally saying that they lack talent or that they are mainly spot artists. I'm not very familiar with the Indy scene, but I do know that there's some good talent out there. I was just responding to the arguments about lack of talent and that Indies are mainly spot artists which have been brought up in this thread.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted November 13, 2002 Will the WWF come around sooner or later? Yes, of course they will. However, it will be AFTER they try EVERYTHING OTHER THAN putting on Smart television - because lord knows they can't do that.
Guest Brian Report post Posted November 13, 2002 Will the small indies have the money to support alot of these guys?
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted November 13, 2002 Nope. Japan will (at least for guys like Jericho and Benoit - maybe even HHH). But the N.A. Wrestling Industry is in for 7 years bad luck when the WWF dies - and even then it's an uphill climb dependant on the new generation of workers out there *shudders at the thought*.
