Guest C.H.U.D. Report post Posted November 16, 2002 By the way...being able to steal your opponents finishers and use them on them is AWESOME Yeah, that was pretty exciting. 4 years ago when you could do it in No Mercy.
Guest EricMM Report post Posted November 16, 2002 Why is it when you irish whip someone into a car it explodes? Why is the wrestler then tossed in a 20 feet arc onto another car, which also explodes? Did I miss this RAW? The one with the exploding car bump?
EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2002 Here ya go, boys. 1) The little details make me fuckin mark like a bitch. As in: The hand shaking on the Spinaroonie, the WOOOOOOOOOOO! everytime there is a chop or if Flair does it, and the crowd going with RVD when he points to himself. 2) The moves are fucking great. You get moves that never existed in a game in the states, like the DEATHMURDERKILL Powerbomb, the AIR RAID CRASH (Emerald Fusion 3), the FLAIR FLOP~!, Houston Hangover, 619/West Coast Pop, and probably others I haven't unlocked. But you know what REALLY SELLS ME? There are TWELVE different ways to hit a Shining Wizard in that game. Un fucking real. Mutoh has all his own moves in this game, and once you unlock them, it's like Christmas morning, my friends. 3) There are some really good storylines, and it seems as if they put a WHOLE lot more time on this one as opposed to SD 3. 4) The double team moves are really cool, as they brought in the double flapjack and the VAULTING Shining Wizard along with the...er, Accident that Billy and Chuck did. And did I mention that the taunts rule? My favorite actual character in the game is Brock Lesnar, because he has THE no-sell move in the game. He gets nailed with a right hand, and then BOOM! He lariats the fuck out of his opponent. Damn... It's probably the best game I've ever played, wrestling wise. I'm gonna Benoit this one, and wait for somebody to prove me wrong. Guest chirs3 Report post Posted November 17, 2002 Hey, I haven't picked it up yet, but I'm just wondering, how hard/easy is it to pull off Van Dam's signature moves? Like: The Step-Over Heelkick Rolling Thunder (does it have both versions?) Standing Moonsault Split Legged Moonsault Spinning Heel Kick to Opponent On Guardrail Monkey Flip Springboard Jumpkick Are all of those in the game? For the ones that are, is it hard or easy to pull them off?
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted November 17, 2002 I am loving this game. They seem to have added a few heel tactics like the pin with the feet on the ropes, costing people matches with interference, and taking the turnbuckle pad off the turnbuckle. I so marked out when I saw Randy Orton do it during a match. I proceeded to use that tactic against Rikishi as I kept whipping him into the expsoed turnbuckle, hurting his back each time. The match was a squash, but it felt awesome to cheat for once. This game rocks!
Guest Choken One Report post Posted November 17, 2002 This game rules... I borrowed it from one of my coworkers whom brought it to work and said I could take it home (gave the fucker a $3 dolla raise). The CAW is so deep...I haven't even TRIED to create a actual wrestler yet...just messed around with it. I had a legit 30 minute ***** match as Kidman against Eddy just a little while ago. The best guy? Brock Lesnar...Beats everyone in 2 minutes flat. Went to Season and won the title in first month...LOVE the roam shit...Always able to start an angle with Undertaker and Regal...whom seem to stalk me. Anything wrong with game? They were updated enuff to have Unamericans but not to have Cena, Batistia, Rey Rey?
Guest snowfan Report post Posted November 17, 2002 other thing that is wrong with the game???? fucking RVD can kick out of 5 F5s I guess because he hit jeff's luggage on the way to work....
EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2002 "The Step-Over Heelkick Rolling Thunder (does it have both versions?) Standing Moonsault Split Legged Moonsault Spinning Heel Kick to Opponent On Guardrail Monkey Flip Springboard Jumpkick" You are SO in luck...every move except for the Spinning Guardrail Heel Kick is actually in the game, including both Rolling Thunders. Guest chirs3 Report post Posted November 17, 2002 El Dandy, are they easy or hard to pull off? Like "direction+strike" when next to fallen opponent, for the Rolling Thunder/Standing Moonsaults? Or is it more complicated than that?
Guest fazzle Report post Posted November 17, 2002 Wow. No matter how horrible you think the WWE might be right now, you can just look at videogames and see how much worse it can get. The currently scheduled main event for Wrestlemania: Hogan vs. Bradshaw.
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted November 17, 2002 My CAW is getting the Triple H treatment in my game now. Flair comes to Smackdown and all like, "I need you. I cannot beat McMahon unless I have you on Raw's side. You are the only one who can help me beat McMahon." So, I go to Raw, and immediately get stuck in a match against RVD. Naturally, I go off and bury him. Alas, I did not win with my finisher, but I took it pretty decisively, and put that midcarder in his place. Next Raw, I get another match and another twenty minute interview. This time my opponent is...Tazz? The heck? WHERE'S JERICHO?!? So, I squash Tazz. Alas, he submitted before I could even break out my big holds. So, now I am back on Smackdown to team with Kurt Angle against Rock and Mark Henry(?). What did Rock do to deserve that? Oh yeah, and Angle thinks I am great, too. He's always on my side. I am loving this "Triple H" scenario.
Guest JHawk Report post Posted November 17, 2002 I am digging the Season Mode as DDP. After Backlash 2003, I just beat Hogan for my second Undisputed Title, and Brock Lesnar beat RVD in the top contenders match, so I guess we've got that coming up for Judgment Day. Costing Trips the belt at WrestleMania kicked 27 kinds of ass!

(The Rock, Steve Austin, Undertaker) at Survivor Series in a match to see who gains total control of the WWE. This game rules.

Guest Repo Man jr Report post Posted November 17, 2002 El Dandy, are they easy or hard to pull off? Like "direction+strike" when next to fallen opponent, for the Rolling Thunder/Standing Moonsaults? Or is it more complicated than that? Rolling Thunder you can do either as direction and strike or a running move (Square then strike). Rolling thunder with a moonsault is a ground grab and looks wicked. He even sells the ribs. And wait till you see the 5 star!!! This game is a big improvement over the others. You can even get a little action replay on finishers (Pressing L2) They totally nailed Booker T, Hurricane, RVD etc They have every move and taunt you can thing of. Guest raptor Report post Posted November 17, 2002 So everything to make Rey Mysterio is in the game? (ie 619, West Coast Pop, Costumes). I'm waiting for the first game he's in if I can't make him.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted November 17, 2002 So everything to make Rey Mysterio is in the game? (ie 619, West Coast Pop, Costumes). I'm waiting for the first game he's in if I can't make him. They have an exact replica of the mask he's wearing in your sig pic in CAW. Plus, all his principle moves are in. As well as, a series of reversals that are called "Cruiserweight Moves" that I've seen all the WCW Cruisers do.
Guest Zero_Cool Report post Posted November 18, 2002 Man, I was playing all night last night with my CAW, and I haven't even cracked the surface on the game. A cool part is that after the match, you can do a beatdown on an opponent. My best beatdown was after Edge and I beat a couple a jobbers, so when I did a beatdown on my fallen advisary after the match, Edge stood there, arms up, all like, "move along, nothing to see here", to the ref. Good times.
Guest crandamaniac Report post Posted November 18, 2002 Why is it that all the wrestlers who jump from Raw to Smackdown seem to want to kick my ass before they go? I'm currently the Undisputed Champion, who has taken Flair's side in the split, and so far I've been sucker-punched by both Chuck (who coincdentally won my hardcore title by pinning one of my opponents in a 4-way match) and William Regal, after I had just won a match with him as my partner
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted November 18, 2002 I don't suppose in making the CAW they don't have the moves like the Ki Krusher 99 or Dragon Clutch to make Low Ki.
Guest What? Report post Posted November 18, 2002 Man, RVD + Undisputed Title = awesomeness feuded with Benoit for the #1 Contendership to the title, and then I feuded with Angle, who beat the Undertaker, FOR the title. I beat Eddy in a ladder match for the Euro title in the same night I beat Angle for the Undisputed Title. Great stuff...and Lesnar + RVD = Best Tag Team EVAR! Guest BifEverchad Report post Posted November 18, 2002 Good GOD~! This game is as good AND defintely BETTER than I was expecting. There's so many things included in this game that makes you "oh man, thats awesome!". I'm currently in the Season Mode with Booker T, and I'm the Undisputed Champion on my way to King of the Ring to face Beniot in a Cage Match. Anyways, I've yet to crack the CAW mode. Anyone help me out with a Big Poppa Pump CAW? Holla If Ya Hear Me....
Guest starvenger Report post Posted November 18, 2002 Gotta agree with the masses here - this game ROCKS!! The only real issues I've had so far is the fact that the game occasionally has a bit of a delay with the controls and the fact that Slobberknocker has been made more "realistic". Where's the fun if it takes more than 1 F5 to kayo your opponent in this mode? Anyways, the little things really help to make this game. The "you sucks" during Angle's intro song, the "whats" during Stone Cold's promos, and of course, the "Whooo"s just add to the overall fun. And I haven't even started exploring the CAW yet. I only rented the game to see how it played, but now, I'll probably have to buy it.
