Guest ElectricRaccoon Report post Posted November 16, 2002 I'm not normally a fan, as I like to TASTE the liquor I paid insane Canadian prices for, but sometimes I get a serious jones for a Pirate Coffee or a Bloody Caesar that can't be ignored. What are your opinions? How 'bout your top five drinks or something? 5. REAL (gin) martini (mixed drinks that only involve alcohol and a garnish - now that's something I can get behind.) 4. Tequila and orange juice (I loathe grenadine) 3. Whiskey Sour 2. Pirate Coffee (3 oz. Woods Old Navy rum, 6 oz. black coffee) 1. Bloody Caesar (I've heard rumours you can't get these in the States - is this true?)
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted November 17, 2002 Jack Daniels(or i suppose most any whiskey) & Coke(or pepsi whichever) Jack Daniels Lynchburg Lemonade: They sale these in stores as those Country Coolers which are basically wine coolers with Jack in them. However I usually drink them as a mixed drink. Can't recall what's all in it off top of my head. Vodka & Cherry Kool Aid: I call it a Jim Jones Kool Aid. Pour a shot or two of Vodka in a cup then fill the cup with the kool aid and add more vodka if it isn't strong enough. Vodka & Lemonade: Great stuff to drink in the summer. Most people make lemonade and pour a glass of it then put in vodka until it's strong enough. The hardcore drinkers way of doing it is fill a pitcher with vodka then pour lemonade mix into it and stir. Hell just taking Vodka and mixing it with any beverage that you enjoy is good stuff. Guest RepoMan Report post Posted November 17, 2002 I'm not a huge mixed drink fan either but here we go. 1. Sprit and Peach Snoops. It tastes better that any drink, hard or soft. 2. OJ and Gin 3. Tequillia and Dr. Peeper, not that it tastes good, but I drank all the time in high school.

Guest ElectricRaccoon Report post Posted November 18, 2002 i discovered it one night just randomly mixing stuff I had left over , and DAMN is it good. Heh. Reminds me of another drink, one I will never even consider touching again, but one I still have good memories of. "Dr. Darr-Ill's Patent Medicine". It's complicated, and you need, like, a lot of equipment, but this is how it goes... 1. Run out of whiskey. 2. Get a juice glass. 3. Ask girl-drink drunk roommate if you can scam a drink. 4. BEG roommate for a drink. 5. When asked what you want, pause for a moment, then demand "Everthing, man! A drink with ALL the liquor!" 6. Take bets 7. Wait. Repeatedly yell the name of the drink while roommate prepares it (with back turned, for added suspense.) 8. The final product, in my experience, turns out to be a syrupy purple-brown mass of liqeurs. The next day, the actual contents were revealed. Kahlua, creme de cacao, Sambuca, Frangelico, creme de menthe, cherry whiskey, Midori, butterscotch schnapps, some kind of cheap irish cream, Raspberry Sourz and Bacardi Limon. Yes, he actually owned that shit. And drank it on a regular basis, too - I've never seen anyone else actually have to REPLACE a bottle of Frangelico. It was more sucrose than I consumed in my entire childhood, in one glass. Also, it more or less destroyed my insides. But still, it's a hell of a drink, so it gets an honourable mention on my top five.

Guest Ace309 Report post Posted November 20, 2002 How could I forget the dreaded boilermaker? Pour a glass of beer. Pour a shot of whiskey or something strong like that. Actually, if you want to do it RIGHT, you use a pint of beer (I prefer Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale, but failing that, whatever's on tap works) and a double-shot of good whiskey (Crown, when I order it). Drop the shotglass in, and then chug it. I'm also a big fan of Dublin Carbombs (beer and Irish cream), vodka and 7Up with lime, tequila and squirt, and the good old Irish coffee. Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted November 20, 2002 Boilermakers work with anything, and when drinking them in succession, it's almost impossible not to hurl. However, when slamming shots of hard liquor immersed in a glass of suds, your intentions are pretty clear that you're drinking to get drunk, and not to just hang out and toss back a couple.
