I was just going to leave it at that but I'm tired of the fanboyism overtaking the legalities of the situation when people talk about the WWF/WWE ordeal. VINCE VIOLATED THE AGREEMENT HE HAD NOT TO MARKET THE NAME INTERNATIONALLY! STOP BASHING THE WORLD WILDLIFE FUND! THEY ARE WELL WITHIN THEIR LEGAL RIGHTS! IF ANYTHING, BLAME VINCE FOR NOT FOLLOWING THE AGREEMENT SET FORTH SOME TIME AGO. That's all.

To be honest, I don't care whether the WWE is the WWE, or if it would still have been the WWF. The storylines would have still been the same.

But honestly other than a day or two after the announcement that they were suing again this board hasn't even mentioned it.

Yes, it's delayed and yes, it's not as relevant as it has been in the past. I just felt the need to vent because it's been going on for months. But since the panda is the symbol for the WWF, it's what most people associate with them. It's also one of their biggest causes, is the giant panda. Hence, most people don't know anything about the WWF other than pandas. Many probably think that's their only cause.

Actually, it was the pandas who ended up fucking Vince. One of the few groups to get anything on him in a courtroom. And as I've said in other threads, I place all of the blame on Vinnie.

Just leave it blank, or change it to "That show we watch Monday and Thursday nights for reasons that are becoming less evident every week."

Although forcing the WWF to drop their Classics show in the UK and use NWA/WCW footage instead is probably going a bit far.

They should have swallowed their pride and realized they will NEVER be the recognizable wwf. WWF will always mean World Wrestling Federation to the public. Their whole argument was they didn't want to be associated with wrestling. Well HELLO!! as long as they still have the initials WWF they will ALWAYS be associated with wrestling. Cause a lot of non-fans don't know about the name change cause they don't watch. It's pretty simple that the only way the World Wildlife Fund can disassociate themselves from wrestling is to change their own name. And on another note I found this request a little odd. It's just a joke. Damn it's not like you got your feelings hurt. Get over it.
