Blood in the woman's hardcore match?

Recommended Posts

Guest areacode212

I agree. In the WWE's mindset, women's wrestlers are models first, wrestlers second. They probably think that the T&A fanbase will be too squeamish to see the women blade. At most, there might be some hardway bleeding, but there probably won't be any blading. There certainly won't be any Hokuto-esque "crimson mask" action (that would be cool though).

i think if they introduce blood into a women's match the majority of the fanbase they hope to grab with women's wrestling wouldn't like it, if that makes sense.

besides it would allow the gals to show up the boys even more....

Vicky-Trish is more compelling than HGH/Kane

What avout using fake blood? I can see that happening more so than i can see someone blading.

All this talk of blading has got me thinking. Do wrestlers have to have HIV tests? I know from playing rugby, that if someone gets busted open, they have to go off the field straight away and get sticthed up before they're allowed to return (i.e. because of the risk on infecting other players).

When we see BIG bades jobs from both wrestlers (i.e. just look at Brock/Taker from HIAC), then each guy can end up literally bleeding over the opponent. Surely thats risky business, so do they get tested?

The only other point I can make on this is ROIDS! If the wrestlers are getting blood samples sent off to test for HIV, then surely any Steroid in their system is going to show up.

HIV dies within a few minutes of being outside the human body--you'd really have to have cut-to-cut contact in order to transfer it.

And I would bet that they have their own in-house testing for HIV before they allow any blading.

It must be a legitimate threat though, because, as i say, in rugby matches you have to leave the field if yu get cut.

I think your right about inside testing though. THat must be the only way they can do it and avoid a roid scandle

I already suggested that on page 1. Excluding the possibility of hardway, I only see Trish bleeding by pulling an HBK from Summerslam. If she DOES blade, then way to go, Trish! I'd gain a little more respect for her.

Stuff like that is more about covering their asses than it is about the actual risk which isn't that high.

From what I understand, they do some testing, indeed.

Best wishes,

Well, Victoria got juicy juice on her nose the hardway. Tried as she might, Trish didn't draw juice from her bumps. The match needed 4 cans, 4 cans of fun. Take that, New Jack! Great women's macth, great match period, as they brought out the HATE. Now if they just get rid of that fakey missed punch spot, the women's division would be in business.
