Guest ISportsFan Report post Posted November 18, 2002 Tommy Maddox out indefinitely with at the very least a stinger, at least he regained feeling in his upper body in the hospital. Donovan McNabb breaks his ankle and is out 6-8 weeks. Both of those are huge. Jason
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted November 18, 2002 Deuce McAllister sprained his ankle.
Guest ISportsFan Report post Posted November 18, 2002 Deuce McAllister sprained his ankle. So THAT'S why he did squat for me in my fantasy league. Thanks for the update. I didn't see that one. Jason
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted November 18, 2002 I'm glad Favre made it through. They lost, but at least he isn't hurt after what else happened today. McNabb sinks the Eagles, but it is Maddox that gets you right in the gut.

Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted November 18, 2002 Yeah, who knew Ray Lucas actually knew how to play QB? Hey, it only took him 3 weeks plus the bye to figure it out.

Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted November 18, 2002 HA! I bet the Eagles couldn't even beat the Bears without McNabb. Yeah, sucks about Maddox. Especially because Kordell Stewart will be on my TV next week.

Especially because Kordell Stewart will be on my TV next week. If Kordell Stewart is on your tv, then the Bengals will be on there as well. Pittsburgh can beat the bengals with Kordell, but I'd like to see them beat Jacksonville with him in 2 weeks.
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted November 18, 2002 You should have seen the celebration at my house when the McNabb injury thing scrolled across the screen. There were high-fives, people were embracing...I even popped the cork off a bottle of champagne. Maybe, just maybe, the Bucs will finally be competitive in the playoffs. If it came to it, I think they could beat the Giants.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted November 18, 2002 The Bucs face the Saints on Dec. 1st which should be a great game. But... McAllister > Sapp.
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted November 18, 2002 The Bucs have Green Bay next week, which will be a test. Even if it is in Tampa, the Packers are coming off of a loss and it'll go a long way towards indicating whether Tampa's 8-2 record is worth a damn. The offense has stepped up the last two weeks (despite the fumbles), so we're really starting to get things going on both sides of the ball. I'm cautiously optimistic. But with damn near every team in the league playing wildly inconsistently, I'd say the Bucs have a better than average chance of doing something with this season. And I do not fear the Saints. No, I don't.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted November 18, 2002 And I do not fear the Saints. No, I don't. You're just telling yourself that. The Saints has already beaten the Bucs.
Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted November 18, 2002 The Packers would of been better starting Favre, and than putting in Pederson. Seriously, Favre cannot play in the MetroDome. With QB's like Rodney Peete, Kerry Collins, and Joey Harrington in a losing cause having great games Doug Pederson probably would of lit the Vikings up. Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted November 19, 2002 Marc Bulger is hurt. Here comes Kurt Warner to suck for the rest of the game.. GO BEARS!
Your Paragon of Virtue 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2002 Where is the game between GB-TB? If it's in Green Bay, we know who has that one in the bag already.. I hate the Dolphins with a passion, and I was *extremely* pissed off to see the Bills lose unjustly, while they won with ease. *Sigh*, the Bills are the most enigmatic team in the league this year, and THAT's saying something... Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted November 19, 2002 Ah, but its In Tampa.. Tampa is my lock of the week in the Prediction thread since I know it will be one of the games with the option.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted November 19, 2002 Hmm...well Im getting part of my wish... Shane Matthews will not be starting for the Redskins vs the Rams. Its not because he's hurt, but he might as well be, because he just plain sucks. The problem is Danny boy could be starting, but theres also the probability that Spurrier will alternate QBs (Ramsey and Wuerffel). The Rams haven't done anything special vs the Bears with Bulger..the Bears are a worse team than the Redskins..HELL, the Redskins have a halfway decent shot of winning the game..and Bulgers performance isn't going to garner him any "He needs to start, not Warner" controversy.. OHH Boy, this is one crazy NFL Season.. IF the Rams lose (currently lead 14-13), they'll be 4-6 along with Arizona and Washington..Washington has the favorable schedule, Arizona has the horrible schedule and history of tanking, and St. Louis started 0-5 and were bound to go back to losing again.. Gosh darn it..
