I shall call him Mini-HHH!

I would rather watch Edge than Angle at this point. Angle tries to lead every match he's in, and he can't freaking do it for crying out loud. He knows how to put on one match, which is why Edge/Angle's multitude of matches are boring.

Edge at least realizes he's not captain Wrestle, and lets his opponents all carry him. It gives his matches variety and makes them fun. Sure, he plays the same character in every match, but that's because he knows he can't always hang with the guys he's going against, so he keeps it short and does the Super Babyface thing done by Rock, Austin and everyone else who's ever played the top face role. If anything, I think Edge's predictable hot spurts add to the match because it levels the playing feel quickly, and leaves the ending of the match in doubt, you know? You can't be SURE of whose gonna win.

Plus, despite being in matches with the same guys (and at a greater frequency) Angle hasn't improved at all. He still sucks at selling properly, he still can't tell a story to save his life and he still relies on suplexes. Edge at least has learned to sell, and I haven't seen him BLOW the psych of a match recently like Angle with his stupid ending seqence ankle lock.

I'm still trying to figure out when this became a "Edge/Angle, who's better?" debate when all I said was that Angle wasn't a ring general.

Actually, I think it started when I asked why Angle was better than Edge.

Then again, I might be completely wrong on all of this, because hey it's just what I think.

Heh, you're probably right. But hey, it's nice to have some serious discussion outside the usual HOSS~!/HHH/HBK garbage permeating the board...
