Guest Shaved Bear Posted March 4, 2002 Report Posted March 4, 2002 id say corpoate ministry, what was the point?
Guest BookerTman Posted March 4, 2002 Report Posted March 4, 2002 The gang-wars of '97-98 sucked ass.
Guest converge241 Posted March 4, 2002 Report Posted March 4, 2002 The Union was the worst! Any stable that forms to oppose the powerful heel stable is awful. see: Attitudes, Dudes with Corporate Ministry was pretty weird too, something just wasnt right.. The Nation could have been a lot better, The first one with PG-13 was good but after that it went downhill.
Guest Human Fly Posted March 4, 2002 Report Posted March 4, 2002 They started out strong, but main the RTC sucked after a few weeks. Their matches sucked, and their promos were really starting to lag.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted March 4, 2002 Report Posted March 4, 2002 I would have to go with the "Lost Burritos." It was Savio and three other guys. They feuded with DOA and NOD who at least looked tough. Meanwhile, you had these goofs parading around in a red tanktop, white pants, and white shoes. They looked completely stupid, and hardly a thread to anyone, except for those with good fashion sense. The only plus about them, in my opinion, was the fact that they stuck them on SuperAstros or whatever the WWF Spanish show was called. They stuck one of them with the gimmick of evil mariachi singer or something to do with Spanish music, which had to be one of my favourite gimmicks of all-time.
Guest areacode212 Posted March 4, 2002 Report Posted March 4, 2002 Now, when you say Corporation, are you referring to Vince McMahon's deadly one or Ted DiBiase's (less impressive) 1994-96 version? Though, they were both good for different reasons (how can you not love the cent sign on Nikolai's tights?) I'm voting for Los Boricuas and the DOA. At least the Nation were sort of badass when they were first formed, with all the members & hangers-on they had (Clarence Mason, PG-13, Jacqueline (that *was* her, right? Just before she went to WCW?), D-Lo, etc..).
Guest Tony149 Posted March 4, 2002 Report Posted March 4, 2002 I voted for D.O.A. They didn't do much at all. Which is probably a good thing. The Undertaker looks like a long lost member of D.O.A.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 4, 2002 Report Posted March 4, 2002 Degeneration X. All it had was X-Suck, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, Chyna, a broken down and useless Shawn Michaels, and a HHH that wouldn't be any good until two years later.
Guest erotic jesus Posted March 4, 2002 Report Posted March 4, 2002 Everyone seems to be forgetting the Truth Comission... Both the Commandante, and Jackyl versions... I remember the very first version had a fat dude in a mask named "Tank". I saw him wrestle on Shotgun once... probably one of the worst wrestlers ever. This makes me wonder, though: Is Kurrgan still under WWF contract? The Oddities, I think, could have worked in a creepy heel-Doink kind of way... They just really got lame when the ICP replaced Jackyl, though...
Guest Rabies Posted March 4, 2002 Report Posted March 4, 2002 The X-Factor (X-Pac, Credible, and Albert) deserves a honorable mention as one the worse in recent time.
Guest Frankie Williams Posted March 4, 2002 Report Posted March 4, 2002 Just the sound of their music sent shivers up and down my spine. When they first came on the scene with Crush i could deal with them cause I always thought Crush was cool, but when it dwindled down to just Skull and 8-Ball....UGH. To steal a like from Billy Crystal in the Princess Bride.....I would rather get a paper cut and pour lemon juice on it, than watch The Harris Brothers wrestle. Those were some dark days.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted March 4, 2002 Report Posted March 4, 2002 The union sucked and only lsted for what a month? but the worst was the right to censor
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted March 4, 2002 Report Posted March 4, 2002 I concur with the Truth Commission.
Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Posted March 4, 2002 Report Posted March 4, 2002 X-Factor get my vote. 3 wrestlers with zero heat and the worst music ever thrown together to give X-Pac something to do between extended breaks due to injury and suckitude. The RTC did suck ass, but they were only there as a hypocritical PTC piss-take, and anything that stops Suck-a-Billy using the "Mr. Ass" name and music is fine by me!
Guest Will Scarlet Posted March 4, 2002 Report Posted March 4, 2002 Did you have to bring up the Truth Commission? I thought I had blocked such a terrible group from my head. I mean, come on, whose bright idea was this angle? A group of South African militants who did nothing particularly evil? How does being from South Africa make them evil anyway? Were they secretly smuggling diamonds over to the Netherlands or something? Heck, have them feud with the Nation of Domination over the stuff that happened in South Africa for I care, but give more of a reason to boo them then, "Well, there from South Africa and are dressed like militants. Boo them." Why were they called the Truth Commission anyway? Thankfully, they did not last long. I am thankful for that.
Guest Army Eye Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Degeneration X. All it had was X-Suck, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, Chyna, a broken down and useless Shawn Michaels, and a HHH that wouldn't be any good until two years later. Er.. Shawn Michaels was useless and broken down in '97? I don't think so. DX the first time around was good. HBK, HHH, Chyna, and sometimes Rick Rude. Parts two and three were not so good. But not the worst ever. The worst stables ever.. I would have to say D.O.A. I have never seen such a bland, boring, useless stable. Some other ones that sucked: WWF: Los Boricuas - another pitiful stable in the gang wars Truth Commission - ditto Ministry of Darkness - before they went corporate. UT, Acolytes, Mideon, and Viscera was a real dud of a stable The Union - just a bad idea. a waste of Mick Foley WCW: Dungeon of Doom - no comment needed nWo babyface Wolfpac - incredibly lame nWo B-team - when the only guys left were Vincent, Stevie Ray, Scott Norton, etc. Not a good way to end their biggest angle ever. Totally Buff - these guys got the ultimate rub, retiring Goldberg (!) and were jobbing in one minute to Palumbo and O'Haire two months later
Guest blackjack4x Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 DOA. They had terrible matches and their mic skills were even worse. The Truth Commission were also pretty bad.
Guest benoitisamidget Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Personally I think the decline of good stables is the fault of Chris Benoit. In WCW he gave the horseman such a bad image that people began to feel that all stables sucked that much. They should fire that no talent hack before he ruins anymore.

Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Troll. The nWo, so far. It's just been awful.
