ChrisMWaters Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 Hehehehehehe...two Critic References within the course of 2 weeks. THat's got to be classic right there.
Guest snowfan Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 oh yeah and WCW failed because of that Jobber Bret hart... brother...
Guest Vern Gagne Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 This is going on my Christmas List. Hogan is always good for a laugh.
Guest Si82 Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 "As I left the arena, 68,000 people in Skydome watched me go. Ultimate Warrior held the belt over his head and no one cared" If this is the kinda shit in Hogan's book can you imagine what Vince McMahon's book will be like? Or a :shudders: Triple H one? However, it does sound like a laugh and I'll probably pick it up when it comes out in paperback.
Guest NoCalMike Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 Never did I think there would be reason to buy Hogan's book, but the sheer comical value of his ego and god-complex looks like it is enough to provide me with MUCH LAUGHTER throughout the holiday season.....I think I might just have to pick it up once the price drops down.
Guest AndrewTS Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 This is going on my Christmas List. Hogan is always good for a laugh. I'll wait until it hits dollar stores everywhere. Just like Chyna's book. If he couldn't get the Hulkamaniacs to see his movies I don't think a book will do too well much later. Would this mean that Hogan will make Wrestlecrap history, having booked, taken part in angles, made movies, made a CD, starred in games (WCW Nitro and Thunder) AND made a book which would all qualify or already have Wrestlecrap entries?
Guest kurtangledoesnotsuck Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 This is ghost-written pap. Foley's book is the only one worth picking up. Rock's book is poorly written, Angle's has Kurt in character, and I laughed at Hogan's. Merely a picture book with him lying through his teeth. Stay away from this crap and buy the DvD.
Guest DeputyHawk Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 hey bps, what's hogan's take on kotr 93 an his whole fifth title reign?
Guest Angle-plex Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 I can't wait for Triple H's book.
ChrisMWaters Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 I can't wait for Triple H's book. If HHH gets a book, I say we do what the Nazi's did. Take his book, any copy of it, and burn it. >=)
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 1. The Hulkamania will be bigger than ever thing wsa written about his post Mania 18 time. Which is funny. 2. He said that he made an agreement with Vince to win the title from Yoko then drop it back at KOTR to Yoko. He said Bret came up to him one day and started swearing at him about how he had lied about putting him over at KOTR, and Hogan said that he had made a deal for Yoko, not Bret. Then he said that he, Bret and Vince all sat down and Vince told Bret he had heard wrong.
Guest BAR Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 Eh, I'll stick with my Bobby Heenan book that I got yesterday. Interesting read so far, I skipped staright to his WCW chapter, classic.

Christmas List means someone else will get it for me. I'd never waste 25 bucks on a book by Hogan.
Guest jester Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 ***1. The Hulkamania will be bigger than ever thing wsa written about his post Mania 18 time. Which is funny. I can believe Vince said this to him. In fact, I believe that Hogan believed it then and still believes it now. To the rest of the world it's a load of crap. ***2. Then he said that he, Bret and Vince all sat down and Vince told Bret he had heard wrong. And I can almost believe all of this, but I bet Hogan is omitting that the original plan was to lose the title to Bret. I can just picture Hogan and Vince calmly explain to Bret that the plan was never that he would beat Hogan for the belt, and Bret staring at them in stunned amazement.
