I turn my computer on and realize that I accidentally deleted some pictures and video, and then I look at the forums, and the porno folder is gone!

 

Why oh why? Sex & Dating will never fully replace the porno folder.

cause there were complaints about dating taking up too much space in general chat, & somebody suggested we do a folder for dating. and the porno folder had practically turned into a "general sex topics" folder a long time ago. so, there you are.

Yea I know, I rarely actually use the folder, but I enjoyed seeing the title "PORNO~!" every time I scrolled through Pop Culture. Besides, all this talk of dating will clog it up, plus many of those dating questions come from impressionable audiences (i.e. posters under 18) so that could end up negatively affecting the porn discussions sooner or later.

A lot of people bitched about the porno folder and the lack of porn content, the fact that it's name should be changed, and that no body used it to discuss porn depite many asking for it. I never cared, and I still don't. It's more accurately titled now, at least. I think this would've been done before if the people who liked to bitch ever posted a thread about it in site feedback. Hopefully, General Chat will become a cool place again. Outside of the gnome thread of course.

the porno folder was on life support. MX and myself suggested the Ask TSA folder (or dating, sex folder) because the general folder was getting bogged down with so many advice threads. They all needed to be in one place.

On a somewhat related note, I'm slowly resigning myself to the fact that my 2,500+ picture internet porn collection (stored safely on enumerated floppy discs and painstakingly chronicled in an enormous Excel file) isn't going to do me a lot of good as long as I live in my grandparents' house. Both computers are in the same room, which is directly across from their bedroom. They sleep with the door open and emerge to ask me ridiculous questions at random intervals, thus making me far too paranoid to...use porn for its natural purpose. I'm distraught and I'm rapidly running out of girls that I either worked with or attended high school with to fantasize about.

With high speed, you just overload on porn. I had a whole shitload of videos, almost 10 gigs of it. With all those videos, I got bored of just looking at picures very easily. One day though, I just some how bult the courage and deleted a whole bunch of my porn, now I think I only have about 1 gig of porn.

I only have about 275 megs of porn, but remember that's... ummm... specialty stuff. I actually don't know why I don't just delete it, I never actually use it for its "intended purpose" anymore.

I just want to say that since this new sex, dating advice, whatever folder was created and I can avoid these advice threads with ease, my rage has subsided to tolerable levels. GC still hasn't yet returned to it's glory days, but my faith has been restored. Thank you.
