EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2002 In the grand scheme of the recent NJPW 10/14 Tokyo Dome show with the AWESOME (well, some more than others) Seven on Seven Chono's Army-NJPW Army series, I came up with this scenario while talking with my boy Dames. It's improbable at best. It'll probably never ever happen. And it's a crying shame at that. Ladies and Germs, I give you the Seven-match series- "The Magnificant Indy Seven vs. The WWE Army" Seven of the greatest Indy performers today against seven of the WWE's best. The Mag Seven-American Dragon, Lo Ki, "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels, AJ Styles, Jerry Lynn, Amazing Red, Mike Quackenbush The WWE Army-Rob Van Dam, Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, Eddy Guerrero, Jaime Noble, Billy Kidman, Rey Mysterio Notice how all of these guys fall under the class of not being a "hoss." We are talking about the MEGA-CARD of wrestling today. Forget any shit like a Big Show/Brock rematch, or a Shawn/HHH match. We're talking about 14 guys who go out there and WRESTLE. I really want this to stay in the WWE folder because something like this is good to talk about. Who would win? Would it go to a draw or anything like that? I'd split it up like this: RVD vs. AJ Styles Lo Ki vs. Chris Benoit Kurt Angle vs. Mike Quackenbush Eddy Guerrero vs. Chris Daniels Jaime Noble vs. Jerry Lynn American Dragon vs. Billy Kidman Rey vs. Red-THE KICKER. Give them each 15 minutes. I just came up with this. Tell me what ya'll think. It'd take Vince to swallow his pride and *gasp* put another company over, but who knows. We just might see this, soon. Finish would be Benoit misses the diving headbut which sets up a brain buster and submission by Am Dragon. Sure, it would be a great match, but if people fail to see Big Show as a viable champion, would the casual fan see Benoit as a viable champion after losing to a Indpendent wrestler which the vast majority of fans have never seen before. This would kill all credibility to any WWE worker who would happen to lose, unless the Indy guys were built up as THE BEST in wrestling today bar none. This match would establish the rookie prodigy and start a feud of a lifetime. I thought it might be a cool thing to think about. Dames and I were going crazy over the Don West feedback, and all of a sudden, it came to me, in the night. Literally.
