Guest Black Tiger Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 Does anyone have a pick for Noble's cousin, I'm going to guess either Brian Lawler or Chris Hammerick, both have the heavy southern accent.
Guest big Dante Cruz Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 Erm, Spanky. People were talking about this earlier.
Guest Choken One Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 No Idea whom Spanky is, but been hearing about him for quite some time...care to elaborate on him with info? Brian Christopher? Makes a good point there...Has the southern history, we know he has an In with the company (they are known historically for 2nd chances). However, don't discount the possibility of having some one whom in an complete opposite of Knoble...Redneck but Huge redneck...Likely his name is Cletus Hogwram.
Guest Frankie Williams Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 If you noticed, the name of Nobles cousin was "Nunzio" which is an Italian name. It wouldnt surprise me if Little Guido was the one who portrayed him. It would be pretty funny to have a hick and and Italian from Brooklyn hook up.
Guest Choken One Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 Is it Noble's Cousin or Nida's cousin? I can see them pulling the italian out of Nidia... Little Guido...Nice.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 NO BRIAN CHRISTOPHER!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't Chris Hamrick show up in NWA:TNA this week? Even if he didn't, I doubt they'd bring him in. Conjecture on this board is that it will either be Spanky or Little Guido. Since they named the cousin "Nunzio", most likely it will be Guido, IMO.
Guest ryankeast Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 It won't be Lawler. I think it is a dead cert between two people Spanky (who I believed was trained by HBK. Please tell me if I'm wrong) or Guido. Oh and it's Noble's cousin
Guest Choken One Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 What makes you so sure they will protray Nunzio as a Italian? Just because Guido protrayed an Italian once doesn't mean they won't have him be a total redneck... Nunzio could be his nickname Jamie has for his cuz because he looks like a ninga....it is the WWE after all.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 Little Guido Maratono, Spanky... Either way Youth N Asia is a happy camper. Although even if they bring them in they still won't put any time into the cruiserweight divison.
Secret Agent Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 What about the wall guy from WcW. Malice or something like that.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 Not if there is a God... And they need a cruiser! No Malice!
Guest NoCalMike Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 I hope it is Guido, would be nice to add a mat-based worker to the hugely talented group of cruiserweights on Smackdown.
ChrisMWaters Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 What about the wall guy from WcW. Malice or something like that. Last I heard he was still with the TNA version of NWA
Guest dreamer420 Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 Guido has been signed with WWE for a couple of months now and I have been waiting patiently for him to debut. Hopefully this will be him.
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 Guido or Spanky. Both rule. So its all good. Hopefully, they will have Noble go over Kidman and win the title back, and have a feuding cousins with him and Spanky/Guido. CRUISERS RULE!
Guest commie_050 Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 I'm gonna say ... Sid. Or not, I dunno.
Guest Eagan469 Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 Italian hick? Tracy Smothers - would be a nice farewell run for the guy
Guest RickyChosyu Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 Guido can't carry Spanky's bags to the parking lot. Spanky is a really talented guy, and while Guido is ok, if he's a "good mat wrestler" then Mark Henry is an "agile big man." That said, I really hope it's Guido.
ChrisMWaters Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 Wait, I've got it! I know who Jamie's cousin is... Opposites attract...Italian Guy... IT'S BIG SAL E GRAZIANO!
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted November 23, 2002 Report Posted November 23, 2002 Guido can't carry Spanky's bags to the parking lot. Well, if Guido is satisfactory, and Spanky is talented. I think the "bags" comment is a bit of an exaggeration. I think a lot of people don't like to admit how talented Guido is, because of his ECW connections, or his ludicrous gimmick. I think he's a good all-around worker. He's no American Dragon, but who is?
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted November 23, 2002 Report Posted November 23, 2002 American Dragon. They're called rhetorical questions, look into them. Because you're a newbie, I won't TELL~! you that.
Guest Black Tiger Posted November 23, 2002 Report Posted November 23, 2002 If it does turn out to be Guido, I will so mark out. People tend to forget how good Guido is based on his ridiculous FBI gimmick. But I seem to rmember lots of people ON THIS VERY BOARD who said that JOHN CENA was one of the very few men on the WWE roster capable of pulling out a five star match.

People on this board are far too smart for that. Remember what Brian Pillman said: You're all a bunch of smaaaart maaarks
Guest Youth N Asia Posted November 23, 2002 Report Posted November 23, 2002 I think Noble and Guido would make an excelent team...two talented crusiers who can do highspots but rely on mat wrestling.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted November 23, 2002 Report Posted November 23, 2002 I think a lot of people don't like to admit how talented Guido is, because of his ECW connections, or his ludicrous gimmick. I think he's a good all-around worker. He's no American Dragon, but who is? What do his ECW connections have to do with his work? Spotty work is spotty work, no matter what the promotion. Guido is a sloppy worker with little to set himself appart. He bumps well, doesn't screw anything up, but otherwise you could find a million guys just like him, and a million others with more appeal.
Guest Choken One Posted November 23, 2002 Report Posted November 23, 2002 I am sure he is refering to the fact that he once worked for the guy whom runs a good chunk of the show gives him connections and a "in" as opposed to this spanky...whom STILL noone had told me about.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted November 23, 2002 Report Posted November 23, 2002 Spanky's a very talented Indy worker who trained in Michaels' TWA. He's most well known for his stellar series of matches with fellow TWA trainie American Dragon. He's done some work for ROH this year, and he's worked Japan a little, too. My favorite match from him that I've seen so far is Vs. AmDrag (woooo, trendy) at the ECWA Super 8 Tourniment from last year. Unfortunately, most of that will probably amount to nothing when he has to work "WWE style" so that the main eventers don't get shown up. Hence, why I hope it isn't him.
Guest Choken One Posted November 23, 2002 Report Posted November 23, 2002 All I was asking for...just another Overhyped Cruiser...
Guest RickyChosyu Posted November 23, 2002 Report Posted November 23, 2002 No, that would be Daniels, Styles, Red, Ki, and a thousand other overhyped indy guys. Spanky's actually a great wrestler, believe it or not. No need to use "great potential" or "could be big" in describing him. Right now, he's a better worker than most guys in the WWE, and while that may sound unbelievable, it's really not an overexageration at all, once you see him work.
