How about Bruce? "Rosalita"?

KENNY ROGERS - Lucille (ha ha ha) What about Lady? I dunno if that counts, I'll let the judges decide...

"Lady" does not count. Neither does "Babe," although I'd disqualify that song on charges of sucking anyway.

Isn't the name Jenny in parentheses next to "867-5309?" I'd be willing to accept that.

Aerosmith- "Angel"

J. Giles Band- "Angel is a Centerfold" Something along those lines.

That makes me rethink my stance on "Lady," though. Is it ever actually stated that Lady isn't her name?

You thought wrong ese

Kenny and Cleo. He would send her letters. The letters he sent her formed a band and scored a hit with "Here and Now" (see one hit wonders thread)

Mudhens - I Want to be Charo

DER!!! How come no one has said "Gloria"???

I get 5 points because I will link Gloria to:

Them \

Shadows of Knight > 3 versions of same song

Doors /

U2

Laura Branigan

Angel is more a guy's name than a girl's...

I know some dudes named Angel, but never met a female actually named Angel

It's a unisex name, as far as I know. I saw a centerfold in Playboy named Angel once and they made sure to note the J. Giles Band connection.
