Bringing the Intercontinental Title Back

Recommended Posts

Guest dreamer420
I like that plan, Chris.

I, personally, think that whatever they do to bring the IC title back, Paul Heyman needs to book the whole storyline for it, at least in the beginning.  Let him concentrate on putting some emotional thrust behind the belt and establish it.  Heyman isn't the greatest ever or anything, but I think he could really make it special again in present continuity.

SP

Heyman should book Raw and Smackdown...

Hey good idea. Maybe The Big Show could win a few more titles.

OT: Is that Matt Hardy nude with a title in your sig Dreamer420? If so.....Mattitude is good and all but NOT Nakitude

I say don't bring it back, it'd just be stupid. The WWE has been damaged and I believe it's never going to be good again. I'm sick of them taking stuff away then bringing it back.

there could be a much simpler way. Since it seems under Bischoff's Raw reign that these belts gotten dissolved. Just have Vince come back retake control and reestablish the belts.

Wait until someone good takes over the WWE, then have a tournament with 8 of the best wrestlers in the companies. No screwjob wins or anything like that.

just do revisionist history like they always do.

Audience: Hey, didn't you get rid of the IC title?

WWF: Uh, no...that must've been some other people...what? Huh? Get rid of the IC title? But it has such a history! Er...

I had an idea that was somewhat stated in an earlier post.

First off, Maybe if they ended the split we would see less of HHH? He would have to share the screen with UT, Lesner, Angle, and everyone else.

Secondly i would set the Championships up like this:

WWE Undisputed World Champion(I liked the undisputed tag.) (Floating between shows.)

WWE Tag Team Champions(Floating)

WWE Womens Championship stays on RAW

WWE Cruiserweight Champion stays on SD

Now for the secondary belt there should be a RAW TV Champion and a SmackDown TV Champion. These people would be exclusive to there show, no jumping with the belt, no nothing. Whoever is the TV Champions would come together for one show and fight eachother for the number one contendership to the World Championship. This would be the only time the RAW or Smackdown TV Champ would appear on the opposite show.

What do you think?

I'm pretty sure that was a Vince idea, and Heyman just wrote it. Ultimately that's what it all comes down to. And I think Heyman has donea decent job of making McMahon ideas at least watchable on Smackdown.
