Haas v Shannon Moore and Spanky: Benjamin pins Spanky for the win. Velocity Tapings 1) Redd Dogg v Rikishi: Rikishi hits all signature spots and hits the Bonzai drop for the win. 2) John Cena with B-Squared(Bull Buchanan) v Danny Danoochi: Cena wins. Cena raps for us at the beginning. 3) Albert and Bill DeMott v 2 jabronies: DeMott hits the No Laughing Matter for the win 4) Crash v Funaki: Crash wins And Smackdown... Recap of events leading up to this week to begin the show. 1) Edge and Rey v John Cena(with B-squared)and Matt Hardy: Hardy wins when he rolls-up up Rey and grabs the ropes. 2) Stephanie comes to the ring to tell us her big announcement that she is suspending Brock Lesnar. He is then forced to leave the arena as the hired police forced told him to. 3) Chuck Palumbo v Tajiri: Tajiri wins with the mist and a kick to the head Backstage with Stephanie and Kurt, talks about her Aunt Flo that visits monthly. Kurt didn't seem to get it and said he wishes he had an aunt that visited him every month. Really needed to know that it was that time of the month for Stephanie Heyman and Show run into Matt Hardy. Hardy says he could beat Lesnar if he was face to face with him, Heyman agrees and they leave. 4) Los Guerreros v Angle and Benoit: Awesome match, not as good as prior matches but the best match on Smackdown and should come off well on t.v. Los Guerreros win with a belt shot to Benoit. Moolah is shown backstage in Stephanie's office and Stephanie tells her she has a match for her tonight. Yeah!! Billy Kidman and Torrie are talking prior to the Pilgrim Fashion show. 5) Torrie wins the Pilgrim Fashion show with a pumpkin shot to the head of Dawn Marie. Al Wilson (Mr. Charisma) gets on the mic and bores everyone to death. He is also wearing a turkey suit and the Cat rips into him and it is hysterical. Marc "Mike" Lloyd interviews one of the ring crew guys who supposedly sold Lesnar a ticket back in the arena he was barred from. The ring crew guy (playing a scalper) says he doesn't know what Lloyd is talking about and runs away. Steiner arrives sometime in a limo and is asked by Lloyd what he is doing here. He then flexes the peaks and walks away. 6) Kidman v Crash for cruiserweight title: Kidman wins with Shooting Star Press. Steiner runs into Noble and Nidia backstage and Noble goes to greet Steiner and Steiner blows him off but grabs a large hunk of the junk in Nidia's trunk and walks off. Noble gets pissed and goes out to the ring to call out Steiner. Steiner comes out to a big pop and destroys Noble. Hits the Gorilla Press Slam and the Exploder. Talks about his freaks and his peaks and leaves. Main event: Moolah v Big Show with Heyman: MOTY candidate, not really. Heyman cuts a promo, Show goes to chokeslam Moolah, Lesnar comes out of the crowd and beats on Show. Paul runs up the ramp and Lesnar hits the F5 through the announce table on Show. Lesnar walks up the ramp and the rent-a-cops block him from exiting with Stephanie standing behind them. The end.

Guest bravesfan Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 Sorry about the dating error...a few thoughts... --Rikishi on Velocity? Good. --Wow, Cena doing double-duty. It's like June RAW all over again. --Good to see Spanky in the ring already...
Guest Zero_Cool Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 ?hm..does that make Steph a heel, or is she just a tweener, because it's her time of the month? Woohoo! Mattitude beats Rey! The era of Mattititude is given a victory on one of the Skdn 6! Big Show vs. Moolah? When I heard this was a throwaway show, I had no idea...
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 Well at least 2 Mexicans, a Canadian, and an American save the show.
Guest art_vandelay Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 Steiner runs into Noble and Nidia backstage and Noble goes to greet Steiner and Steiner blows him off but grabs a large hunk of the junk in Nidia's trunk and walks off. There isn't really anybody I'd like to see Big Show in the ring with, at least they paired all the good wrestlers with other good wrestlers. EDIT: Any confirmation of Ernest Miller taking over colour commentary this week?
Guest Paranoid Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 From that RAW finally won a week! Anytime that Moolah is on a show it sucks, PERIOD! (No pun intended.)
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 I think the tag match will easily blow ALL of RAW away.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 Wait a second... When did Moolah get drafted by Smackdown or traded to Smackdown? Weren't they (Moolah and Mae) beat up by 3MW on RAW a while back?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 EDIT: Any confirmation of Ernest Miller taking over colour commentary this week? 5) Torrie wins the Pilgrim Fashion show with a pumpkin shot to the head of Dawn Marie. Al Wilson (Mr. Charisma) gets on the mic and bores everyone to death. He is also wearing a turkey suit and the Cat rips into him and it is hysterical. Confirmation! (probably over the house mic like Tazz did with the other Torrie vs Dawn encounters)
Guest Zero_Cool Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 About the Smackdown Six...if they keep on having these guys face each other over and over again, will Benoit, Guerrero, and Edge have to pull out new moves to satiate the audience? I mean, will we get see Downward Spirals, dragon suplexes, and splash mountains in the near future?
Guest KingOfOldSchool Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 "Steiner runs into Noble and Nidia backstage and Noble goes to greet Steiner and Steiner blows him off but grabs a large hunk of the junk in Nidia's trunk and walks off. I have a feeling it'll be standard cruiserweight fare. Nice to see Tajiri with a win, and the mist making an appearance. But it just screams filler. I shall reserve judgment until I see the show though, since Los Guerreros v. Angle/Benoit should be good, and I have some hopes for Rey/Edge v. Cena/Matt. But even those two matches may not be able to overcome everything on the rest of the show. I'll watch Velocity only to check out Redd Dogg, but his match v. Rikishi looks to be a squash anyway.

Guest Human Fly Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 If the show is considered throw away enough to have Fabulous Moolah in the "Main Event" maybe they should just give the wrestlers an extra few days off and not have the show. On the other hand I'm shocked they could find the Big Show someone worse to wrestle against as Champ besides the Bossman.
Guest razazteca Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 just curious did Redd Dogg get any offense in the match or was it just a usual squash match? Redd Dogg is Jazz's husband?
Guest SP-1 Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 I was there live. The Smackdown! portion was solid, though ultimately I don't think it has very much bearing on the future. I think it was a show built around playing on the fact that this was the first visit to Columbia, as Steph made alot of comments throughout about how horrible the town is, and Moolah was in the ME and she's from Columbia, which was talked about as well. I think it was very much a filler show, though . . . SPOILER The indefinite suspension of Brock was announced. The crowd was hot every now and then, especially anytime that Brock was on a screen or anywhere in sight. Benoit and Angle got decent reactions, including some face "We Want Angle" chants, which I was happy to be an early force behind starting. Overall it was an okay show. Miles ahead of RAW, which I was also in attendance for. As far as I'm concerned, even live RAW is Smackdown!'s personal bitch. I might be able to answer questions if my memory will provide the answers. SP
Guest wwefan4ever_brethartrulz_18 Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 Jim Ross will say: "Another solid broadcast of Smackdown this week. I liked the show with the exception of the main event. Everyone on both shows works hard, however it seems like we still need to find the thing that people want to see. We are still in the process and I am very confident." On RAW: " I also liked RAW this past monday. I was very impressed by Triple H's return, just 8 days after suffering an injury! That's right, folks. The game is a real tough son of a gun and a company man". On Armageddon: "Armageddon in 2 weeks will be a strong show, from where I sit. No matches have been announced but the card is being finalized and matches will be announced on TV".
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 LOL. Fucking fat ass Okie. SP, did Jamie Noble's 'cousin' appear?
Guest SP-1 Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 SPOILER Unless it happened on Velocity (which we missed pretty much completely), no. Noble's sole purpose on SD! was to give Steiner a valid reason to come out, without there being a big official Smackdown thing with him. It was alot like what he did to Matt and Nowinski, only with more reasoning behind it.
Guest drunkenscarredangel Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 Oh dear God... Stephanie talking about her period to an oblivious Kurt Angle (why thats comedy gold! ) Steiner destroying a decent cruiserweight. Fuck you Steiner and Go to RAW! What sounds like yet another UPCOMING Matt Hardy squash (like he can really beat Lesnar) poor Matt...at least he won on this show though. And what the fuck? Moolah vs Big Show for the main event? I appreciate the fact that he didn't destroy anyone like Benoit, Angle, Rey or a Guerrero... and I appreciate the fact that its obvious that the WWE really don't want to give Show the slightest bit of credibilty.... But Moolah?!? What the fuck were they smoking? *sighs* well at least the tag title match and opening match will probably be decent.
Guest SP-1 Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 SPOILERS They put Moolah in the ME because she's from Columbia, where the show was. It was mostly to get cheap heat on Big Show. They talk about Steph hating the town and when she says that Moolah is from Columbia, she gives her a match. Moolah doesn't know it's against Show. It was cheap heat for Show, wanting to beat up an old woman in her home town. That's all it was, and Brock coming back after being thrown out earlier when he was suspended to save Moolah (and what he does to Show was neat, too), gets him quick face heat from the hometown crowd, which translates well to TV as just straight face heat. It was a ploy on a throwaday Holiday show to get cheap reaction on both of them. Worse things have been done. Necrophilia anyone?
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 So Steiner destroys a Cruiserweight? Holy WcW, Batman! That sucks, I was hoping for Noble's cousin to debut. Matt Hardy won? Someone lose a bet? Oh Well, I won't be home to watch it anyway. It's Holiday Drunk & Bowling night!
Guest nikowwf Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 Main Event is the tag title match. Last segment is just to build heat on Show, and visual of him going through table on F5 should be awesome. looks like a passable show....couple of good matches.. niko
Guest Raven_Effect01 Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 Steiner beating up yet another Cruiserweight, Crash actually getting onto Smackdown, Steph possibly turning heel just to be shoved down our throats more in the future, and Moolah vs. Big Show as the main-event? What the hell just happened to Smackdown?!
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 So much for Brock F5'ing Big Show being Special. Won't mean crap when/if he Beats Big Show for the Title with the move now. In a weird, Political kind of way, it's like their trying to kill Brock's Heat.
Guest eirejmcmahon Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 Face Brock vs Evil Heel Owner Steph ? No.
Guest drunkenscarredangel Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 Face Brock vs Evil Heel Owner Steph ? No. Why not? You know she's probably just dying to make herself the centre of the universe- I mean 'Smackdown' again. Even more than she already is.
Guest Nevermortal Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 Backstage with Stephanie and Kurt, talks about her Aunt Flo that visits monthly. Kurt didn't seem to get it and said he wishes he had an aunt that visited him every month. Really needed to know that it was that time of the month for Stephanie. If you're gonna rip off a TV show, at least make it one that isn't RECENT.
Guest nikowwf Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 What show did they rip off? BTW, i agree EVIL STEPH vs. BROCK storyline blows so badly... niko
Guest subliminal_animal Posted November 27, 2002 Report Posted November 27, 2002 just curious did Redd Dogg get any offense in the match or was it just a usual squash match? Redd Dogg is Jazz's husband? Redd Dogg is Jazz's husband. They call him Badd Dogg on OVW now, I don't know know why the change hasn't translated to his untelevised appearances. I think he might've been in ECW, too...am I wrong? Steiner destroying a decent cruiserweight. Fuck you Steiner and Go to RAW! Would it make sense for Steiner to let him get in offense? Besides Noble's not getting hurt by getting beat up by a guy twice his size. Steiner beating up yet another Cruiserweight, Crash actually getting onto Smackdown, They're short on guys for Smackdown, why not give someone a shot?
