I like Mr T. No matter what stupid situation he's put in, he makes it entertaining (ie shampoo, confessional (If only he'd said "3 hail Marys, Sucka") )

I like Christian, DDP, RVD.

I like Ric Flair, especially when he's not wrestling.

I like that Stratus, Kiebler and Wilson have put more effort into their jobs in the last year than Taker has in the last 7-8 years.

Don't get me wrong, Baron.

Ric Flair is indeed "the man", but at his age, and with his history, he shouldn't, and shouldn't feel the need to wrestle, especially Taker.

Otherwise younger fans will be left with the memory of an out of shape has-been rather than the legacy of a fourteen time NWA/WCW champion who could get **** matches against the 80s equivalent of Test.

Dude I hate to dump on Wahoo, but Wahoo McDaniel was awful when he was older and Ric had 3 star matches with the guy. I think you underestimate the Naitcha boy with that Test crack. As long as you had legs and arms Ric could carry your ass.

I entirely agree that Flair could carry anyone and anything heck, I'm a big Flair fan/mark and the man rules. I just don't see the need for him to wrestle anymore as it will just lessen his legacy.

best smarky cliche ever in relation to Flair was "if Flair ever had to wrestle a loaf of bread, he could get 3 stars out of it. In fact he would get the loaf of bread over. The fans would be chanting 'kick his ass loaf of bread' and after 40 minutes you'd swear that loaf of bread was gonna take Ric Flair's belt."

Ha ha!

Now and then I could see him wrasslin. You have to expect Flair to freak out and think he's 30 again. It's only natural for the character. I like seeing him on TV but the thought of never seeing Ric Flair drop one of those 10.0 elbow drops in a match again breaks my heart. I agree with you though, although the magic is still there with the pyro and the robe and the music and the.... "WOOOOOO!"... once the bell rings it just isn't Ric Flair anymore.

I'm really depressed after just typing that.

I know what you mean, Baron.

Much as I am a Ric Flair fan, I know that these days once a match starts, it's not the 1980's and Flair will probably almost suck. ( I say almost as I refuse to believe even an old beat up Flair would not put in the effort  to make a match watchable.)

If Flair can't work fast paced and bump like a pinball he'll at least bleed. If the guy can't wow you, he'll at least show you some gritty brawling. I never actually saw his Vince match but I heard it sucked. That to me was a death knell to the Nature boy.

before that though I was huge supporter of him making a ring return. Heck he's Ric Flair man I'm gonna be going bonkers at Mania with Taker. I don't care how slow the match is.
