Most annoying Fans in the NFL

Recommended Posts

Guest Vern Gagne

Whether or not these fans are loyal what teams fans just annoy you.

The Vikings: Morons with their facepaint and jersey's with their names on the back. Actually cheering for the horseshit Vikings. Why would anyone cheer for a team that sucks. I'm all for jumping on the bandwagon if the team is good but what's the point if they suck.

The bandwagon fans are by far the most annoying. The ones who can't tell you anything that happened past two years ago.

Why is there a problem with fans cheering a team even if they aren't great. You know real fans are kinda suppose to show support for their team no matter how good they are.

I don't have a problem with bandwagon jumpers as long as they remain fans.

I jumped on the Canucks bandwagon in 1994 yet remain a fan to this day

That's different. Most people first get interested in a team when they are in a hot period. I'm referring to the true bandwagon jumpers that jump from team to team depending on success. You don't see too many Rams fans around now, do you?

Must be hard to be a bandwagon NFL fan this year. You'd be jumping wagon every other week.

Uh, Browns fans cheered when their QB (Couch) got hurt during the Browns Ravens SNF game earlier this year. They were also the ones throwing bottles on the field, and they have a really bad hatred for Art Model..

Ok, so I can understand hating Art Model, but wishing death on him and stuff is a bit too much.

After this year is over, I've decided that Im going to stop watching the Redskins games for as long as Snyder owns the team. Dan Snyder has pretty much drug the Redskins franchise into a large salary cap hole with absolutely no results to show for it. He will never be a successful owner in the NFL, and I hope that he gives up and sells the team to someone who knows what they're doing. I've said it before and reversed my position on the matter numerous times, but I mean it this time for sure. Next year its going to be the Ravens or nothing for me.

Hell, Im ready for Baseball and NASCAR to start...and its not even december yet..damn.

I can't wait to see Raiders fans in 2 years when 3/4 of the current team is retired or playing somewhere else because of the Salary Cap.

The Raider Nation will be in ruins..

So when a team is playing like crap you shouldn't support them??

You shouldn't go to extreme measures like facepaint and a team flag on your car. That's bad even when the team is good but when their bad it looks ridiculous.

I will never forgive the fans of the Philadelphia Eagles, for their actions toward Michael Irvin a few years ago.

Agreed. I was no fan of Irvin when he was with the Cowboys, but jeering a guy when he may have been paralyzed on the field is in a league of its own...

I'm the same way with the 49ers.

I'm surprised that it took so long for the Eagles fans to be mentioned. Their only redeeming quality is that they booed Destiny's Child at the NBA finals.

I became a fan of the Boston Celtics in 94-95 that's right when they were a losing team. And I really liked them in the Pitino era too. I like 'em even more now now that they're 10-5 but that's not the point.

Yay a Celtics fan! Right on Bro!

Ya know I know it's off-topic but I hafta say the teams around here are ALL exciting to watch now. I ave watched Boston sports since I can remember and always been behind all my teams...but something about the last two years around here is just amazing. Pats winning the Superbowl, Bruins the best team all aroud in hockey, Celtics one of the more exciting teams in the league, and the Redsox are still gonna be competitive with Pedro/Nomar/Manny at least til 2004.

I LOVE New England!

As for the topic. Worst fans...Dolphins and Yankees. Always thinking they are better than everyone else. Here's a big FUCK YOU to those fans...Have a nice day!

Philadelphia Eagles fans are like ECW fans except for at least ECW fans were respectful when a guy got injured. They may have been idiots but at least they were respectful.

Judging by this forum, I'd have to say Green Bay and New Orleans fans.

And, I have to say "Fuck you, Kinetic."

:P

Agreed on Eagles fans- they're so bad they have a court in the stadium for unruly fans.

I'd have to say Green Bay and New Orleans fans.

Hey!! (Goes and sobs in the corner)

Eagles fans consist of two groups: those who sit in the lower levels and those who sit in the 700 level of Veterans Stadium. For the most part, those who sit in the lower levels can control themselves and usually end up acting like normal human beings. The majority of those in the 700 level, however, are insane, blood-lust filled yahoo's who will physically attack those who are rooting for the other team. God forbid that someone cheers for the Giants, Redskins, or Cowboys. They incur the wrath of a bunch of drunken morons who deem it necessary to verbally and physically attack those who don't root for the "Iggles". Mind you, not every Eagles fan is a nutball or moron. The reason that Eagles fans get a lousy reputation is because of those in the 700 level.

Don't forget when they used to egg opposing teams.

Living in Cleveland, I actually know some people that WERE Packers fans, but stopped because they stopped winning Super Bowls. What a crock!

It's weird because my two favorite teams are BY FAR The Browns and The Eagles. Their two stadiums are the homes of two of the most infamous incidents ever.

Philly: See above posts. Irvin was a prick during his playing days so I don't see the big shock here. I know I'd cheer if I saw Sapp get carried out. Oh yes I would!

Cleveland: Trying to decapitate referees and Jaguars with beer bottles. Well, that call was horseshit! Don't screw Browns fans over playoff hopes or consequences will be met.

Yes because throwing crap onto the field is a great way to get your point across

And why exactly shouldn't Browns fans hate Art Modell with a passion?

Might not have all the information, but the taxpayers in the city of Cleveland turned down a tax referendum to build a new stadium for the Browns. Now, they at least had some say as to whether or not the Browns would stay in Cleveland, I just think that they never thought that Model would pull out of Cleveland like he did. Irsay, owner of the Baltimore Colts, just up and moved out in the middle of the night in Mayflower trucks to Indianapolis and didn't even give the people of Baltimore a chance to try and keep the team there. God knows I think the city of Baltimore would have supported the Colts a whole hell of a lot more than Indianapolis is right now (Theres a condsieration for moving the Colts to Los Angeles if Indianapolis doesn't build the Colts a new stadium..) All I can say to the Cleveland Browns fans is that if they didnt want the team to leave, they could have passed the tax back in 1994/1995 and built the new stadium and none of this would have ever happened (oddly enough they still had to pay for a new stadium for the Browns). I remember the old stadium and it quite frankly looked like a shithole, so Model was justified in saying that he needed a new stadium built..
